Four hours ago, a massive 6.6 magnitude Richter earthquake hit coastal Taiwan and Southern Japan. Local agencies, already overburdened with ongoing (nuclear) clean-up, continue to report. Minimal U.S. press coverage—slow to extract reports from the world arena in (western) night-time, unless specifically targeted—may find that differences in international dateline/time-zones may not result in this event’s being buried, It may not fit into a neat, orderly media-orchestrated political schedule.

There are ramifications, however—especially for western U.S.A.

Two groups of Native American elders have summoned their communities, in preparation for uprooting and a move inland, away from their traditional ocean-listening posts. In San Luis Obispo county, a small nucleus of Chumash, originally ‘whale-whisperer sea-shell people’from Morro Bay to Malibu—their traditional lodges and burial grounds long-since displaced by ex-pat. Ventura- and Topanga Canyon-ites—have returned to hear “repeated warnings from our cetacean siblings” that we are endangering our homeland.

The tribe’s chief then wades among the animals and interprets their sounds.

In 2014, tribal leaders were “summoned” by Pacific Ocean whales, to alert them to a tsunami, ‘soon’ to engulf their community. La Push is located at the intersection of three tectonic plates, prone to earthquakes of nine-point magnitude. The tribe immediately started to make plans to move their community to higher ground. It applied for and received money from both the State of Washington and the federal government, to fund the relocation. Synchronously, assistance has been offered to Quileute elders by Finland’s University of Aalto, in designing their new settlement. In Finland’s Baltic and Arctic Oceans, they are also brother-whale-whisperers.

John Muir—progenitor and founder of first U.S. National Park—would be proud of us, his descendants. While he was born in lowland Scotland and thus learned how precious is wild forest floor—Scotland’s indigenous trees mostly eaten by commercial sheep enterprises— un-mangled [by humans] tangled growth. Yet we seem oblivious of our continuing and unrelenting pollution of our only home.

Sudden floods in New England, the Carolinas-coastal Virginia cause concern over contaminated drinking water supply. Marinas in Coral Gables, Everglades and Gulf states, Alabama, Louisiana and eastern Texas are revamping water towers last used in Hurricane Katrina, to cope with extra demand. Meanwhile Four Corners, Gila Bend, Arizona, Utah, Nevada—don’t even think of temperatures in Death Valley—and in a geographical spread as far east as Idaho, Kansas and Minnesota, high winds bring risk of grass fires.

Half the country is burning up, while the other half flounders in rising sea levels.

Do we still deny we have a hand in this? Are we pretending we don’t know what’s going on?

However supposedly :safely: out of sight, according to U.S. National Ocean and Atmospheric Administrqtion (NOAA) Chief Science officer, James Delgado, the hulk, used for monitoring hydrogen bomb tests on Bikini Atoll in South Pacific’s Marshall Islands was deliberately sunk off San Diego’s beaches, carrying one hundred barrels of nuclear waste in its hold.

A half-buried metal ship full of discarded nuclear waste is not what U.S.Navy residential retirement community of Coronado needs. Not to mention its hold, stuffed with radioactive bricks, concrete and mortar—’in case of leakage’—lies now exposed to every little rattle emanating from the San Andreas fault and its tributaries stretching south into Baja California. Los Angeles’ Baldwin Hills experienced two middle-range quakes last week. Pasadena and San Marino residents live constantly with shaking mantels.

Fifty years to the day, volcanic activity around the planet regurgitates ash, debris and detritus from its dormant cone, as if marking the event in EARTH’s calendar, Earth‘s schedule, Earth’s Grand Plan.

Residents of Pinatubo‘s local island Luzon—unlike the cancer-prone residents of Bikini—still recount stories their grandfathers told of wildlife death toll, relocation and readjustment to life under a stratovolcano’s gaze.

It is also five years since Iceland’s volcanic-field-cum-ice flow blasted ash and pyroclastic mush into the North Atlantic, delaying the return of NASA’s last space shuttle, Discovery.

Their favorite volcano, Eyjafjallajökull, standing proud in a 33-mile wide lava field, is still smoldering, shooting reminders up into the stratosphere along the fault held loosely by the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. In case anyone farther afield is listening, Herta, Surtsey are telling us Earth has its own idea of marking anniversaries.

Perhaps we should go along with the conclusion drawn by an old veteran WWII Lancaster bomber navigator friend, who only last week decided to slough off this mortal coil at the youthful age of 95:

Reaching for Sunbeams: Unity Consciousness in the Ninth Wave

José Argüelles–proponent of the living spirit of the Maya as seen through their Calendar of Consciousness — died on March 23, 2011 (2 Imix). Among his contemporaries and in his community, his ‘transitioning’ to a higher dimension–just as the culmination of the Calendar of the Maya is glimpsed on the horizon–was considered a surprise, a tragedy. He was one of the few indigenous Americans who could make sense of the multiple calendar calculations of his ancestral Maya, putting their Tzolkin (260-days), their Long Count and their fiscal Haab into words that many could understand. He was honored in March 2002 as Valum Votan, ‘Closer of the Cycle’ by Mayan Nine Indigenous Elders atop the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan. There they awarded him the elders’ ceremonial staff for his efforts in helping to awake humanity to the meaning of 2012. He was co-founder of Earth Day (former Arbor Day) and instigated the first Whole Earth Festival in California in 1970.

Argüelles’ first book, The Mayan Factor: Path beyond Technology (1987) was a breath of fresh air to believers in many countries who in the year of its publication congregated at his instigation to celebrate the Harmonic Convergence of August 16-17. It was the first gathering in modern times on Earth for a large convocation of all nations joining together to pray, meditate, give thanks and commune with the ancestral spirits.

Harmonic Convergence happened at a point in sidereal time when a majority of planets of the solar system converged in the sky and in calculable time 25 years before the Mayan Great Cycle Calendar end-date of winter solstice 2012. Sixteen years after that convergence, another galactic (planetary alignment) event occurred in 2003, known as the Harmonic Concordance, when an estimated one million people gathered worldwide to celebrate another level to which a growing consciousness movement on the planet had aspired–and reached–Unity Consciousness. In November 2010 a third convocation occurred between East and West where an estimated 10 million took part.

According to several western Mayan scholars, the 1987 date marked global synchronization for those kin souls on the planet prepared to shift into global awareness suited to the final years of their revered ancestors’ calendrical calculation: a human society whose consciousness was making ready to leap into a higher dimension, where we will manifest ‘one thousand years of peace and harmony’ on our planet.

Along with her mentor and colleague, Dr Carl J Calleman, Barbara Clow is a Mayan scholar and also an accomplished astrologer. According to their calculations, the Earth, along with all who are ready for Mankind’s quantum leap in consciousness, moved into the last Mayan phase–the Ninth Wave or Universal Underworld–on March 9th this year, one month ago. The event was signaled by a massive series of earthquakes on the Pacific rim. This shocking occurrence has had the desired effect of bringing much of the world together in compassion, although it still seems almost inconceivable that we as a whole-earth society have only one year from now (the Ninth Wave) in which to ‘get our house in order’ for the leap up the dimensional ladder into our evolved higher (light-being) selves.

But Unity Consciousness has a finely-tuned harmonic scale which our DNA and our evolving, light-enhanced cells may find hard to resist.

And we have help.

Judging by increasing complexity we have witnessed in crop circle designs of recent years, the 2011 season (England–imminent) *(see first report in Wales here)* will more than outdo its predecessors. From around 1998 on, 2D graphics seen in Wiltshire and Oxfordshire fields (as viewed from above) have progressively demonstrated the quantum reality of showing higher dimensional figures (3D, 4D, 5D) as if in shadow, or in their two-dimensional, (simpler), form.

Astrophysicist Carl Sagan once explained that the only way we–in 3D– can visualize a 4D object is to imagine an extra dimension at right angles to the ones we know as familiar. Or see its shadow counterpart.

Crop designs in 2010 were particularly adept at showing higher dimensional objects in their lower dimensional (geometric) shadow guise.

It is as if we are being given consciousness clues to help us maintain our level of intent to accomplish the next leap in faith.

Crop circle art is no longer seen as marginal, an outdated hoax, a manmade joke. The concept of humankind’s own higher self–its own unified field of psychic understanding projecting a message back down to the 2D receptors of its own learning (lower self) population–begins to make a degree of sense.

Like imagining a dimension at right angles to the ones we already know, we just have to get our heads around the concept.

Crop Circles–the Cosmic Post-it Note

Crop circles are like post-it notes left by our already-elevated consciousness in a time-warp created by our future self and stuck on a prominent noticeboard before it left the building: for us to come along and read in this dimension, so we know we’re still headed in the right direction. Or, if you prefer it, picture a shadow of what is to come. However you do it, it will take both hemispheres of the brain to work in unison to get the projection right! And there are many poised worldwide to integrate the lessons of the 2011 season into their awareness.

The Astrological Aspect
Many of us have a fascination for planetary clustering in current astrological charts. In progressed charts, astrologers can detect heavenly indicators which are actively guiding the human race in present time –making it a make-or-break choice for many. Last spring and summer were dominated by a Grand Cross configuration: conflicts all around. This spring marks global change.

Following this month’s potent new moon-Sun-Jupiter conjunction on April 4th-5th and a Mars-Uranus conjuction (rash, impulsive unexpected change) in the same sign (Aries), Ms Clow says ‘people will feel like racehorses at the gate, ready to charge when the gun cracks… If you race for your true heart’s desire, chances are the people around you will be focusing on theirs as well; there’s no need to smash into each other. Our reality is now a fully-activated holographic fractal field, so when you choose your highest good and place it in your heart, what you’re doing doesn’t (negatively) affect others. But it would be very smart to stay out of any conflicts that are going on around you–especially the ones you don’t really care about.’

One further prediction in archival material maintained by the Maya is that nine deities or forces will appear at the End of Time. The Codices left by the Maya envisage the return of Kukulcan–Aztec Quetzalcoatl. He is mesoamerican serpent god-of-the-sun and consort of Venus.

In the West, the appearance of nine energies in the End Times has been interpreted widely as equivalent to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in Western biblical tradition: war, pestilence, famine and death. Dr Calleman, however, thinks otherwise.

“I believe that behind these cosmic forces, whose times of activation are described by the Mayan calendar, is an intelligent plan for the history of humanity that comes from a higher source and has a benevolent intention.”

He sees them as synchronicities or numeric coincidences: 9:9:9; 10:10:10; 11:11:11 and, of course, 12:12:12 are only four such numerological events.

Others have seen the ‘appearances’ of light orbs associated with the creation of crop circles, the Norway spiral and the revelations now being released by US government sources on UFOs as such ‘appearances’.

These nine cosmic forces are influencing and governing our collective consciousness and so we have every reason to pay attention to what is going on in this cosmic time plan–

He is convinced the numerology of nines is particularly relevant to this, the Ninth–and final–Wave, leading us to planetary and societal ‘completion’. He encourages ‘community building, networking and spiritual synchronization’. He envisages a rapid expansion of consciousness in our Final Days, where much is accomplished in a very short time–the Tzolkin 260 day time-count. He says the Ninth Wave is designed (by intelligent Source) in the Cosmos to accomplish a new earth-wide and earth-nurturing consciousness: unity consciousness with all life. That we need to prepare for this–individually and together.

And that in approaching the birth of a new world with conscious intention, we will join with others of like mind and intent. Naturally, says Calleman, it is a matter of choice.

Let us hope that not only is he a true visionary, but that he is right.

Crop Circle Season: an early bird?

Weeks before swallows return, we may see an early start to crop circle season

I believe the 2010 Crop Circle Season is imminent. I don’t mean this July. Much sooner. Possibly even next week.

I made a few notes on dates previous seasons began – even after atrocious winters – thinking I had at least another week before I needed to post this, another week of research and doublechecking the facts. But, in going over it again, I realize Crop Circle Consciousness is upping the ante.

A decade ago the first crop designs in Wiltshire and Hampshire appeared when barley and wheat were beginning to show signs of ripening at the end of May and the first week of June. Similarly, in the early years of the 1990s’ decade, seasons began May-June. But as the decade got older, consciousness quickened and seasonal appearances started happening earlier. By the last year of the ‘nineties, 1999, the first crop circle appeared in Over Wallop Hampshire on April 3rd! In the early ‘noughties, up to and including 2006, the season didn’t begin until well into May or even June (2003-2004) in ripening barley and wheat. Then, bang, as if the last years of the decade again brought anticipation and focused interest on the phenomenon, the season started earlier: 2007: April 15th at Oliver’s Castle, Wiltshire; 2008: April 20th Waden Hill, Avebury. Last year, the first crop circle appeared in oil seed rape – not yet in flower – on April 14th at the Ridgeway.

April 14th is less than a week away. And there are already a number of fields planted in oil seed rape (canola) in Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Hampshire.

This year April 14th is also Vedic New Year: Vikridhi; the name itself occurs only once in 60 years. A week later, it’s Earth Day (Arbor Day), a northern hemisphere date chosen to celebrate the birth of naturalist John Muir, but more recently absorbed into the Earth-First culture of organic growers, tree-lovers and tree-huggers everywhere and, naturally by analogy, those who celebrate the earth’s crowning glory in crop form: the Croppies.

We all know the crop circle phenomenon has been getting more notice of late: worldwide attention, in fact. On the internet alone, it features in websites as diverse as ρѕу¢нє∂єℓι¢ α∂νєитυяє run by supreme techwiz ‘CO’, to the photographic marvels of Karen and Steve Alexander to the ultimate in documentary archives, the Dutch-run multi-lingual Crop Circle Archive which seems to have catalogued every crop pattern in every country since the beginning of Creation!

Then there are the more philosophical and ‘mystery school’ sites like Freddy Silva’s Crop Circle Secrets, Krsanna Duran’s Timestar and Paul Vigay’s leading-edge research site, Crop Circle Research.

Given that in all self-realized culture, ‘consciousness equals reality’, we’re speaking about a large slice of humanity who follow such blogs and website updates; a large group of people whose consciousness is willing the new season to begin.

CO runs an international blog, unfunded by donations, a labor of love. He’s very good at what he does, his blog-traffic is astounding (one hit every five seconds) and he has a distinctly Vedic following. The Alexanders, Cropcircleconnector and Lucy Pringle, on the other hand, are a little more conservative, receive handouts with solid Brit, or WASP, backing (Americanese for White Anglo-Saxon Protestant), and have a slightly more ‘English’ approach to the subject. You are encouraged to buy a T-shirt or log on and read a plea for financial support before you can be routed to the goodies. The Dutch archive site offers a diagram catalogue of every crop circle, is volunteer-funded, but its attitude is open and its following represents perhaps half the First World. I like to think of CO’s following in the Indian Subcontinent as the Second World. The Third World is, so far, unrepresented.

So, give or take a few million, let’s say half the world is anticipating the new crop circle season. Not consciously, perhaps, but after a hard winter with only images in one’s mind or on one’s computer to feed off, it is hungry for a new influx. The future is wide open: will it show more mathematical code, more Mandelbrot sets, develop wild sacred geometry, or will it take the form of a Fibonacci spiral’s striking beauty? Or, or. . . will we of human culture stretch our superhuman electromagnetic circuitry and present ourselves with something we’ve never conceived before?

‘You mean, crop circles are rock ‘n’ roll?’ Julian Cope

Before he died, Paul Vigay wrote of his amazing work in crop circles. It ranged from simple on-the-ground measuring data and observation of cell-structure change in wheat, through correspondence with Gerald Hawkins on sacred geometric design, through illuminating discoveries in ultrasound. His work with Hawkins led to a previously obscure relationship between sacred geometry and intervals on the music scale noticed by the ancient Egyptians: something they likened to ‘frozen music’. It seemed to him a natural progression that he should later make recordings of pixel images of crop circles played through a computer program which converted pixels to sound, and discovered that the resulting music had a quality conducive to meditation, relaxation and deep contentment: essentially sounds in the ‘alpha wave’ band. He said:

Inspired by the work of Gerald Hawkins and our conversations on musical theory, I felt there was an important link between music and crop circles. Combining the two, I developed some computer software that could convert crop circle images into musical notes to see what ‘tunes’ were composed by them.

He recorded several soundtracks from different crop formations which can be downloaded from his website – maintained lovingly since his death. It did not surprise him that others ‘heard’ music while walking or kneeling or sitting inside crop circles which had been recently formed.

There are also a number of ‘coded’ messages which have been received and transliterated over the years. The Chilbolton radio telescope message is only one of many. I would recommend for code-lovers the lengthy study made by Robert Boerman in 2001 after an attempt to communicate with the circle-makers elicited a ‘reply’. This early documentary evidence was one of Hawkins’ favorites and its interpretations are fully discussed on the Dutch Crop Circle Archive.

I mentioned the chaos theory aspect of mathematics represented by the Mandelbrot set. It’s a complicated concept, even for a mathematician, discovered by French-American ‘father of fractal geometry’ Benoît Mandelbrot, aged 85, and still theorizing! Joseph Mason, a student of human consciousness (dream-sequences, results of concentrated intentional motivation), chose to experience learning its potential by his own method of study: concentrating by day, dreaming by night – and noting down his own responses, intuitive actions, human motivation.

As a non-mathematician, he familiarized himself with its complex form in chaos theory which, when projected visually, creates a satisfyingly circular heart-like geometric pattern with frilly edges, called a Mandelbrot Set. He made copious notes as he went along and was not surprised when, nine months after he started the experiment, a Mandelbrot Set design appeared as a crop circle. It convinced him even more firmly that our own consciousness is creating the formations.

The last few seasons of crop designs have made an unprecedented advance in complexity and beauty; our Group Consciousness is indeed making us sit up and observe the Earth with new eyes.

This dear planet we call home is where we are nurtured – particularly in the warm summer months when the Earth showers us with blessings. If only we might allow ourselves a break from thinking ‘poverty consciousness’ (‘running out of oil’) and instead dream up new ways to operate (‘an electric motor run on magnetic particles rather than coils’), within the bounds of her precious resources.

We are the caretakers. If we start taking better care of her, she will provide us with everything. All our needs will be met. We have only to think of miracles for miracles to occur.

We’re already wired for the upgrade. Our DNA has been receiving increasing light boosts since our rendezvous with Galactic Center at midwinter. Consciousness equals reality. We are capable of creating wonders beyond our wildest dreams.

And, what’s more, the new season of crop circles may show us the way…
