Electromagnetism invades all walks of life. It permeates inventions, discoveries in electronics; and revolutionary use of crystalline and silicone technology has brought it into the mainstream where it now affects all strata of world culture.

Yet behind the scenes, we know that its ephemeral nature — its very essence as a ‘force’ on Earth — makes it fragile and open to disruption by an even greater electromagnetic source — that powering our Sun.

The Superstorm of September 1859 known as the Carrington Event is often quoted as earth’s worst magnetic storm, when the planet passed through a solar particle storm (coronal mass ejection, CME) lasting a week. Most of middle N.America was without rudimentary communication; telegraph systems worldwide were disrupted; spontaneous fires broke out. If such an Event were to happen now, there would be complete electronic blackout: hitting communications satellites, GPS; knocking out high-frequency radio communications which airplanes use to fly polar routes; overload electrical grids and blow out transformers, i.e. geo-collapse.

Much recent work by the Thunderbolts Project, glowing from their January 6-8, 2012 Conference, has shed light on electromagnetic powering of stars and galaxies. Key points of their theory give weight to an Electric Universe over one dominated by gravity and black holes:

Electricity now seen to play a more significant role in the Universe than previously accepted;

Sun and stars electrically powered by drift currents (Electric Connection)

Planetary surface features like craters, dendritic structures and rilles caused by super-lightning (electrical scarring)

Certain cosmic phenomena are electrical in nature, including:
Comet tails (electric comets)
The plumes of Enceladus
Martian dust devils
Galaxy formation and dynamics — circumventing the need for black holes and dark matter

Electricity and Magnetism as Waves of Light

In 1860 a 30-year old Scot at Cambridge, James Clerk Maxwell, discovered that the interplay between vibrating magnetic and electric fields created a wave.

He found that electric or magnetic fields alone could not create a wavelike motion; only the delicate interplay between electric and magnetic fields could produce this special wave.

At the time the universe as Man knew it consisted of Newtonian gravity, the four elements of alchemy and the metaphysical belief in ethers surrounding Earth. Space was the unknown frontier, a vast unexplored vacuum. Yet Maxwell proposed these waves operated in that void.

Maxwell was undaunted. Using his equations to calculate, he found he was able to derive a specific number for the speed of this wave. He was astonished to find it was the speed of light. Light was revealed as a series of electric fields chained and interconnected with — and turning into — magnetic fields. Maxwell had accidentally discovered that his equations unraveled the nature of light as an electromagnetic wave.

Theory of Everything
His revelation was the first unified field theory — affectionately called the TOE: Theory of Everything.

Ever since Maxwell’s ground-breaking work, Light has been seen as the electro-magnetic force, created by vibration of electric and magnetic fields rapidly turning into each other;

RADAR, ULTRAVIOLET, INFRARED, RADIO, MICROWAVES, TELEVISION and X-RAYS

are intertwined and speed-linked forms taken by the electromagnetic wave.

Electric Universe theory supported by the inter-disciplinary Thunderbolts Project has built on the work begun by Maxwell; expanded and expounded by Albert Einstein’s phenomenal mind; triggered by quantum theory. Like its sister, Stanford prof. Leonard Susskind’s Holographic Universe Theory, which also defies the old ‘black-hole model’, EU’s proponents are excited by unprecendented confirmations of their original predictions.

Recent EU predictions are confirmed by mainstream astrophysicists using ever-complex telescope technology not available in Maxwell’s time, but now able to detect electrical activity throughout the Universe.

A massive and graphic example of classic electrical discharge and stranding from a star is Supernova 1987A, above and left — the closest supernova event to happen in our skies since the invention of the telescope. First seen in February 1987 in the Magellanic Cloud, our dwarf companion galaxy to the Milky Way 169,000 light years from Earth, its discharges have increased and brightened since its discovery.

GEO600 gravitational wave detector, Sarstedt, Germany picks up strange sounds

Meanwhile German scientists have been trying to understand why their equipment measuring gravitational waves is picking up strange sounds.

Craig Hogan, professor of astronomy and physics, U.Chicago and director of Fermilab’s Center for Particle Astrophysics in Batavia, Illinois feels GEO600 has stumbled upon the fundamental limit of space-time –- the point where space-time stops behaving like the smooth continuum Einstein described and instead dissolves into ‘grains’, just as a newspaper photograph dissolves into dots as you zoom in.

“It looks like GEO600 is being buffeted by the microscopic quantum convulsions of space-time.

“If the GEO600 result is what I suspect it is, then we are all living in a giant cosmic hologram.

“The idea that we live in a hologram probably sounds absurd, but it is a natural extension of our best understanding of black holes, and something with a pretty firm theoretical footing. It has also been surprisingly helpful for physicists wrestling with theories of how the universe works at its most fundamental level.” Craig Hogan, Director FermiLab.

These holograms can be imagined like those on credit cards and banknotes etched on two-dimensional plastic film. When light bounces off them, it recreates the appearance of a 3D image. In the 1990s physicists Leonard Susskind and Nobel prizewinner Gerard ‘t Hooft suggested that the same principle might apply to the universe as a whole, see above and here. These physicists explain that our everyday experience might itself be a holographic projection of physical processes taking place on a distant, 2D surface.

Controversy still surrounds electrical activity powered by our own Sun. Aurora (borealis and australis) are accepted as electromagnetic phenomena occurring at the poles following a solar flare; electrically-charged plasma can knock out power lines and wreak havoc in city distribution grids; but still the person-in-the-street does not look upon the sun as an electromagnetic engine capable of causing seismic disturbance (potentially on a vast scale) on our little terrestrial globe.

All this week Earth inhabitants are being rocked within a huge radiation storm of M-class and X-class flares — an electromagnetically-charged curtain of particles which left the Sun last Friday. Spectacular auorae confirmed NOAA’s Solar and Geomagnetic Field Indicator (right sidebar bottom) flashing Flare/Orange Storm/Red.

SpaceWeather and NASA upgraded their warning to M-9 class flare (threshold X-flare, the largest), since a further CME erupted from the Sun yesterday. Its leading edge hit Earth one hour later and, as it continues through the solar system, it will strike Mars January 25th. This radiation storm comes with a punch. It shot earthwards at 4million mph, much faster than the usual CME, catching up with its predecessor in one day. Some southern US states have suffered electronic failure.

NASA’s Goddard Space Center is monitoring this particular solar storm carefully as it has a triple payload: electromagnetic radiation is followed by radiation in the form of protons. Then the CME —- plasma from the sun itself — provides the backlash. This makes the geomagnetic field wobble and shake and scatters electromagnetic currents everywhere. It is plasma which can cause electrical grid malfunction. Goddard helio-physicists are following closely as increasing activity confirms the sun’s move from an 11-year solar minimum towards solar maximum expected 2013.

According to Goddard analysts, Friday’s CME strongly compressed Earth’s magnetic field and briefly exposed satellites in geosynchronous orbit to solar wind plasma. Earth’s magnetic field continues to reverberate from the impact, with further buffeting expected. Arctic aurorae have been spectacular.

The Law of Attraction, a term coined in the first decade of the 20th Century, is a belief which has outlived its proponents in the New Thought and Theosophist movements of the metaphysical community to become a 21st Century byword. The human mind seems incapable of encompassing the totality of the universe in its complexity, so it filters the reality to let in only a miniscule fragment.

What the mind understands becomes one’s fact or reality, and what it doesn’t, does not even exist in one’s world/universe. Forays by the mind out into that infinite source of knowledge-comprehension-belief bring understanding back into the individual’s sphere of experience, i.e. what we think becomes real.

Genuine crop circles — particularly to the cropcircle community who await the 2012 season with bated breath — are extreme examples of this belief system, where during summer months in Britain, and now in several European and American countries, crop formations transmit code for information accessible only by the subconscious mind. Particularly relevant to our train of thought are two crop circles which appeared in succession at Roundway, Wiltshire in July 2011 showing the human ‘feel-good’ centre — the pineal gland which generates melatonin — two days after the same DMT molecule manifested in accurate detail nearby (above). It is common knowledge that spontaneous healings, human warmth and friendship and synchronistic meetings have occurred in crop circles. Roundway, near Devizes is — in electromagnetic terms — seething with cross currents accessible by dowsers and magnetometer readings. Many believe that in addition to their embedded code, designs connect at a subliminal level with our DNA.

Inspirationally, crop circles have had a hold over a large world audience because of the electronic miracle of aerial photography, mostly courtesy CCC and the Silent Circle, with instant rebroadcast over the internet. Within mainstream media (television and radio), the jury is still out.

The crop circle following is comparable with devotees of The Secret (2006), and What the Bleep do we Know (2004) which built on the New Thought Movement theme and brought many new names into the spiritual self-mastery movement, including quantum physicist Gregg Braden and Doctors Joe Vitale, Joe Dispenza, and Deepak Chopra. While Oprah was soaking up television audiencies, these MDs/PhDs were the first cultural phenomenon to bounce off the burgeoning internet. Six years on, within social media — Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+ — such spiritual discussion is commonplace; crop circle excitement quick to spread.

After the Superstorm of 1859, New England’s ‘tech industry’ at the formative MIT (19thC equivalent of today’s Silicon Valley in California) fostered youthful Thomas Edison’s interest in telegraph technology (with A.Graham Bell’s help) to produce the first ‘harmonic telegraph’.

His ‘harmonograph’ and ‘multiplex transmitter’ were the embryo internet of his day, scratchily etching sounds and rudimentary pictures from an electric signal: a path which changed communications in the western world.

It is tempting to speculate that one of the superstorms of the sun’s impending solar maximum might similarly create (temporarily adverse) conditions which could foster even wilder leaps of imagination in inventors using the medium of light-waves to create previously uncontemplated splendours.

Maxwell, Nikola Tesla, Edison and Einstein would have loved to live now — in the world we take for granted — to flip keys instead of switches to bring rainbow reality into the drabness of their black-and-white world: Maxwell and Einstein to see the Higgs-Boson particle cast doubt on a fixed speed for light; Tesla to discover his rotating electromagnetic field could drive ships to the stars; and for Edison to see that Wall Street still uses a version of his stock-ticker! One wonders how they would view the latest iPod or the ability to speak on Skype.

Worldwide prophecies, from ‘Heaven-on-Earth’, to Messianic revelation, to the ‘Second Coming’ suggest the signs will appear in the skies. The classical Maya religiously kept watch to document and measure the paths of heavenly bodies as a means of calculating when this New Age would dawn.

This week should give us an inkling whether the signs in the skies are fulfilling prophecy or merely telling us to buckle up for the ride into the Light. Either way, it should be the ride of our lives.

Swiftly the head mass becomes an enchanted loom where millions of flashing shuttles weave a dissolving pattern, always a meaningful pattern though never an abiding one; a shifting harmony of subpatterns

The Maya say within the present Great Cycle of 5200 years, a calculation of time based on the Precession of the Equinoxes (apparent backward movement of the Sun through the zodiac, as viewed in spring –each Grand cyclical revolution totaling 25,920 years), the Long Count began on August 13, 3114 BC; and that it will end or begin again on December 21, 2012. Focus for its beginning date is the calculation that August 13 (Gregorian calendar) falls 52 days after summer solstice, always the Mayas’ date of Creation. There are exactly 7200 Tzolk’in rounds in this creation cycle. Maya day-keepers believe that the purpose of the Tzolk’in is to serve as a hub or temporal microcosm for all calendar cycles, and as such, the true Great Cycle must begin and end on a day that is 13 Ahau in the Tzolk’in count. In traditional reckoning, the Tzolk’in 260-day calendar and the last date for the much-discussed Long Count Calendar, coincide on 21 December 2012, which is not 13 Ahau but 4 Ahau. Hence the current dilemma: does humanity reach enlightenment in two days’ time on October 28th (Calleman, Clow, Argüelles and others)? or is it ultimately a signal, a last boost of light which will carry us into supra-dimensional existence, heralded by winter solstice 2012?

Traditionalists say there are still another 420 days to go, which gives us enough time to assimilate this increasingly powerful influx of light — fiber-optic informational strands of galactic proportions — preparing us to cross that bridge into cosmic consciousness in just over a year’s time.

This is the time heralded widely as the Shift of the Ages.

John Major Jenkins backs up traditional Maya belief in 2012 as the long-awaited time of cyclical renewal and human ascension

Several groups of descendants of Maya genealogy — along with other well-known and well-schooled Western proponents of the 2012 version, like John Major Jenkins and Daniel Pinchbeck — suggest we need to prepare ourselves: that humanity is moving fast towards this reconciliation of opposites, end of duality, joining of time with eternity; the finite with the Infinite; but we have several psychic areas that need refining first. The indigenous tribes are becoming more vocal, no longer holding their knowledge for their own people alone. The Great Cycle climax is like a familiar coming home; for them signs in the heavens (Norway spiral, increased eclipses) are a wonderful occasion for celebration, not fear.

Ms Clow and Dr Calleman assume that there is total accuracy in the calculation the Maya used to catalogue their concept of time. Ms Clow also believes that time is accelerating at an enormous rate (Hand Clow: The Mayan Code — Time Acceleration and Awakening the World Mind, 2007) and that there are other visible factors beginning to manifest in our 3D plane of existence which are assisting us in elevating our consciousness into a more cosmic view of our reality.

Jenkins is, by his own intellectual reckoning, more traditional in his approach: believing that the completion of the Great Cycle is more likely to happen in December of 2012 because of that date’s synchronistic Galactic alignment. October 2011 has no such cosmic ‘attractor’ calling us from deep space. But on winter solstice 2012, the Earth, the Sun, the solar system of planets and its circling comets will align with that great dark chasm in the middle of the Milky Way which the Maya call the cosmic birth canal, their Sacred World Tree — Galactic Center. Some astrophysicists speculate that this unfathomable abyss is a ‘black hole’ which attracts us and will guide us through the shift.

Others that it constantly spews out DNA-enhancing light which is already changing our human genome. Whether a black hole sucking in or a light source throwing out, both ideas are theoretical. All we know is that for the last 30 years we have been dancing a skirting flirting rumba, annually bringing us closer to that point of alignment with our parent star cluster.

The Maya, bless them, were besotted with our End Times and our moment of galactic reunion fascinated them as far back as AD500. That alone is a remarkable effort; a truly authentic example of the ability to delay gratification, itself the first sign of enlightenment. Their calculations all center round the 2012 endpoint: when another Great Cycle begins.

Returning ancestors which indigenous elders speak of are not just of the human variety. An old Native American legend describes the existence of thirteen life-size human skulls made of rock crystal, that are believed to speak or sing. According to legend, these crystal skulls contain answers to some of the great mysteries of life and the Universe. The legend says that in time of greatest need, at a time of enormous crisis for humanity, all thirteen of these crystal skulls will be rediscovered and brought together again to reveal their knowledge. Their information is vital to the very survival of the human race.

So far six crystal skulls have been found — including the enigmatic Mitchell-Hedges skull, right, discovered in Lubaantun, British Honduras in a Mayan temple in 1924, and the British Museum’s ‘Max’, above. The Lubaantun skull’s size with detachable lower jaw are like no other and examination by Hewlett-Packard in California’s Silicon Valley could detect no tool marks. Carbon dating is impossible as quartz crystal contains no carbon. They concluded laser technology of the highest order was the only means capable of creating it and that its pristine crystalline surface was capable of imprinting ‘gigabytes and gigabytes’ of information beyond present computer technological capability. Its find-location, deep in an AD6thC Mayan temple makes it a controversial object of great beauty which has spawned several novels and an Indiana Jones movie.

The legend emphasizes a pivotal time in human history, when all 13 crystal skulls will be reunited to awaken mankind to a new era — transforming consciousness from the old paradigm into a new world.

“Crystal skulls are complete depositories of knowledge and each skull contains a particular specialist area of information like a living library, each one a volume in a set of encyclopaediae. Now would be a good time for the ancestors to return: the human race — numbering one billion in 1804 took 125 yrs to reach two billion in 1929; 3 billion 1959; 4 billion 1974; 5 billion 1987; 6 billion 1998– is about to hit 7 billion on October 31st 2011. So the human population, at the end of this month, has doubled since 1969. We need our ancestral knowledge now — a more gentle form of wisdom, a simpler way of life — if only to save us from cataclysm.

Much of that human population — at least the younger strand of it — is out in the streets right now. They have suggested that we ALL use the 13Ahau date of October 28th as a gesture to turn off the lights (candles instead, unless you’re on solar!) radio, tv, electrical appliances and toys (computers, too) for one day — certainly not to BUY anything in the shops that day — but to go into nature, read a book, meditate, play, dance, sing, create. Suddenly the message is getting out that the people –the little person– has something to say which is meaningful.

To paraphrase Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, they are setting the tone for the world.

Whether as a result of passing through the Photon Belt, receiving DNA enhancing code through crop circles or light from the cosmos, the Human Mind’s ‘Enchanted Loom’ is indeed waking up. We are experiencing more than ever before in recorded history a revitalizing force which permeates us and our immediate surroundings.

This new consciousness is starting to sweep the world. We humans are becoming psychically linked, our minds fusing into unity-consciousness, a worldwide spiritual culture. No longer are collective thought patterns limited to the unconscious. Dream reality is slipping into our waking dimension, our souls vibrating faster; what we think is made manifest before us.

The once external God is becoming an internal sacred voice.

Last of the historical Inca, the Q’ero, like Akhenaten’s cult of the sun, believe the sun’s orb brings great change. This pachacuti prophesy has lain within their collective memory/culture for the last 500 years. It is optimistic: they believe a new type of ‘light’ human will appear to help mankind through dark times.

Pacha Cuti, literally ‘world-turner’, can be interpreted in two different ways:
[1] that ancient Inca ruler, Pacha Cuti, an enlightened being, ‘stepped outside of time’ and was famous for greatly expanding the Inca empire; that he will return in 2012 to ‘turn the world around’ from a chaos to peace.
[2] that Pacha Cuti represents great change coming in the form of the ‘luminous ones’ — humans with new (psychic, telepathic) abilities and a luminous nature. These are the ancient ones returning who will set the world right-side-up again. The Inca believe that this new type of human has already manifested and is living now in our time.

Inca Shamans also speak of a tear in the fabric of time itself; of doorways between worlds which are beginning to open up again. They believe we have the opportunity now to explore our real human capabilities and become Pacha Cuti ourselves.

Peruvian Shamans say ancestral wisdom means:
“Follow your own footsteps. Learn from the rivers, the trees and the rocks. Honor the Christ, the Buddha, your brothers and sisters. Honor the Earth Mother and the Great Spirit. Honor yourself and all of creation.”

There are 420 more days to go after October 28th to reach the traditional Long Count finale. This month’s 13 Ahau may be the catalyst to project us into alignment, not just our planet, our solar system, our Sun, with the equator of the Galactic plane, but to align our consciousness with an altogether new world: the world of gnosis in its original Greek meaning: intuitive, esoteric knowing. With our hearts out front, and our minds tuning in to feelings, sensations, listening to premonitions, internal guidance, the inner voice, we shall become a new race: the ones fit for the stars: the place from which ancestral gods and angels and guardian spirits/star beings always kept a watchful eye, ready to help us stand, should we fall. Our youth have taken the ‘Occupy Yourself’ initiative. In becoming a world voice for fairness, balance and caring, we are showing our hand; so those same light spirits –our own ancestors — no longer need to hold back.

The Light is coming to our aid now in massive doses. It is up to us to accept the transformation and to allow it to raise our consciousness to transcendental level.

Not only Light, but the spirit that motivated our ancestors, is returning: that enchanted loom of our Group Mind is waking up; the shuttles are clicking. We are realizing we can become greater than we are, just by willing that idea into existence.

As communicators, we bloggers may sometimes feel we have been speaking but the words are not coming from inside our bodies. The words have been coming from somewhere else…

Lightworker Karen Bishop suggests that the sensation of being lost, disconnected and alone will pass as humanity moves through this intermediary stage and into the great mass awakening to follow. Higher dimensions, Alternate Reality, parallel Universes; the quantum paradox of ‘many worlds’: an unending conundrum of being in two places at the same time. Particle physicists pursuing the ‘God’ particle, Higgs-Boson, endlessly around circular underground tunnels on two continents. What do these concepts have in common?

Uncertainty principle: math simplifies quantum reality

Higher dimensions –or alternate ones– are presently the preoccupation of particle physicists, quantum cosmologists and proponents of the holographic universe in our search for the meaning of Reality. Physics, cosmology and mathematics are crossing the boundaries between science and philosophy.

New Age lightworkers are becoming more assured and vocal in their prediction of a mass awakening in human consciousness. And it looks as if science is beginning to agree.

Max Tegmark, astrophysicist, cosmologist and professor in the physics faculty at MIT in Cambridge, Mass likes the idea of parallel universes: the quantum mechanics (QM) paradox of a particle’s ability to be in two places at the same time. He sees mathematics as our ultimate connection to reality. “Math is not something we invented, but something we are continually rediscovering.”

“We now have equations that describe how light behaves, how gravity behaves, how atoms behave. We can express the speed of light in mathematical terms. It is beautiful. In math we capture the essence of a very complicated Universe out there.”

Anton Zeilinger, author of Dance of the Photons 2005, translated into German as Einsteins Spuk, ‘Einstein’s Spook’ or ‘Ghost’, has a different view. He currently heads a team at the University of Vienna who have ‘teleported’ light photons 600 meters under the river Danube. He and his Austrian team of photon-busters have proved (in their ‘double-slit’ particle experiment) a basic quantum theory that we change the nature of reality simply by observing it.

Quantum cosmologist, Leonard Susskind, professor of theoretical physics at Stanford University since 1979, says the beauty of math’s connection to reality is its simplicity. It becomes easier to describe reality with mathematics. “As you probe deeper, mathematics becomes the ONLY reality.”

But in sounding the depths of the cosmos, he uncovered many unanswered questions, e.g., the popular assignment of black holes as the bad guys of the Universe. He and Stephen Hawking discussed the black hole theory in 1988 when Hawking first published his Brief History of Time. “It changed my life.”

” I believed he was wrong. I spent the next 20 years working through the evidence to prove lt.”

Hawking suggested black holes were places in the cosmos which swallowed everything. Nothing escapes after it has breached the rim — event horizon — of a black hole. All light, matter, energy, information is sucked in by its (theoretical) huge gravitational pull and is lost. Nothing comes back out.

“Hawking had to be wrong. I refused to believe everything could disappear. We can’t allow information to be ‘lost’. Instead, how about if the horizon of a back hole is 3D like a hologram capturing 3D reality of everything that falls into it?”

In 1993 he and his graduate students announced their holographic principle of the Universe: that if all reality were indeed a hologram — a 3D model of everything captured as an image of our reality — maybe black holes were images of events taking place very far away: back in time; that our reality is a projection of a holographic record stored at the outer reaches of the Universe. The team became bold. They called a consortium of the world’s top physicists to a conference at Stanford in November 2009 and Susskind invited Stephen Hawking to speak. By then, Hawking was talking about ‘sideways’ or lateral time. But he was interested in Susskind’s holographic theory. And Susskind’s team was about to put it to the test.

“He didn’t get it. You don’t get it. Nobody gets it. But we may be about to prove that the whole of creation is a hologram.”

If the Stanford team is right, their model brings quantum cosmology, the ‘Many Worlds’ interpretation and New Age spiritualism into the same arena: We are what we believe, what we think and how we see our own Reality.

Or even more spiritual in concept, that Susskind’s ‘something stored at the outer reaches of the Universe’ might be the Intelligent Being/Source from whom mystics and devotees seek enlightenment.

Does this mean that the Cosmos is coming full circle?

We are having an intelligent conversation with the Universe.

The Universe may be providing its own answer to the question.

The Sun and solar system gravitate each year to and from Galactic center (of the Milky Way), coming closest in mid-December. It is a point on the ecliptic roughly in the constellation of Sagittarius from which (in the view of many esoteric disciplines and world religions) we emerged in the dark recesses at the beginning of time. In the view of some (physicists, cosmologists) Galactic Center is a black hole. To others (esoteric/New Age science), it is the source of a massive emission of photons, beaming information towards us, a ‘photon belt’ affecting Earth and human DNA. And we are circling in an irrevocable spiral back towards the point where on December 21, 2012 Earth’s orbit in the Solar System, the Sun’s position on the ecliptic and the center of our Galaxy will line up as one.

We may reach this galactic vortex unscathed. In the mythology of the Maya, this is Hunab Ku, our galactic heart; a sign that the Mayan Long Count Calendar is complete and that Mankind will start a new Count of Time.

In world mythology, earth was ground out from the mill of the Vortex, the great Maelström, the cosmic whirlpool. And so, in the eyes of the Maya at least, we are returning to that vortex, that pool of creation.

According to some Mayan scholars, we entered the last Underworld (phase of human evolutionary Consciousness), the Universal Underworld yesterday.

In the eyes of Karen Bishop and other New Age lightworkers who have been working tirelessly to prepare for the ‘Shift’ (in human consciousness), the runup to our rendezvous with the heart of our Galaxy is a sign of our Ascension, ‘coming home’, maturing as a species. To the fearful, solstice 2012 could mean chaos, collapse of Earth systems, erratic solar and stellar behavior; even a physical shift in earth’s poles.

The Sun, our partner up there in the immediate galactic neighborhood, has indeed been leading us a dance lately. Solar activity is on the increase.

We are currently headed for solar maximum, but it’s not sunspots –traditionally seen as the barometer for solar minima and maxima— that have featured, but strong warnings of solar flares disturbing our geomagnetic field.

NOAA’s solar X-ray alert system [view sidebar at right] has been signaling ‘major storm’, ‘active’. Twin crop circles* in Java in late January were followed by a third small design reminiscent of last season’s Wiltshire solar flare warnings.

Spaceweather alert.

And last weekend the Sun itself joined the 3D holographic universe.

Last Sunday, dubbed Superbowl SUNday by NASA and the media, February 6th 2011 marked the day when the space agency’s twin STEREO satellites locked into orbit round the sun and started projecting 3D pictures of both sides of the sun back to Earth.

Affectionately known as STEREOAhead and STEREOBehind, the craft were launched in 2006 on a mission to study solar flares [coronal mass ejections, CMEs] to predict solar storms headed towards earth. The two craft reached their final position [in ‘opposition’ to each other, 180ºdegrees apart] so NASA, SOHO, and SDA are now combined to beam a wholistic continuous view of the sun back to earthbound systems.

“We expect great advances in theoretical solar physics and space weather forecasting.”

Heliophiles are jumping for joy. The 3D stereo images arrived just in time to document new coronal holes forming on the sun’s far side, which are heading to face towards us.

STEREO is an acronym for Solar TErrestrial RElations Observatory. The two satellites now join forces with SOHO [NASA’s Solar & Heliospheric Observatory] which has carried the load of solar projections to date.

“In the past an active sunspot could emerge on the far side of the sun completely hidden from Earth. Then, the sun’s rotation would turn that region towards our planet, spitting flares and clouds of plasma, with little warning.”

Now, in the runup to solar maximum, 2012, these first 3D stereo images bring into focus our need to prepare for possible solar disruption to the geomagnetic field and earth’s electromagnetically-powered systems.

Coronal holes on the sun’s surface are the source of open magnetic field lines from which high-speed solar wind particles stream out into space. This fast solar wind travels at approximately 800 km/s [about 1.8 million mph].

When this surge reaches Earth’s magnetosphere, predictably three or four days later, some spectacular fireworks can occur. Usually the spaceweather team tries not to alarm earth populations more than they really have to. So electromagnetic disruptions to power supplies and weather systems are downplayed. Aurora borealis –northern lights– are emphasized instead.

In NASA’s study ‘of the nature of coronal mass ejections’ the agency is not responsible for reporting on physical repercussions strong emissions [M-class flares] may have on communications, logistical and transportation systems. There are three categories of flares, X-class, M-class and C-class. C-class flares are small, with few noticeable consequences in the geomagnetic field. M-class flares are medium-sized, capable of causing brief radio blackouts, affecting Earth’s polar regions. Minor radiation storms sometimes follow an M-class flare. The largest, X-class, flares are ‘Superstorms’, major events that can trigger planet-wide radio blackouts and long-lasting radiation storms. Earth’s last major Superstorm blackout was the Carrington Event of 1859 when telegraph systems behaved erratically. But at the time the electric light had not yet been invented. **

150 years later our systems are massively dependent on NOT having magnetic surges play havoc with our electrical supply. Not to mention our telephone, television, cells, blackberries, macBooks, iPods, iPads… you get the picture.

So, is our Universe shaking its quantum hologram fist in our faces and saying ‘shape up or else…’? [In that context, we, reflections of the Intelligent Source, may be setting ourselves the test to see if we are ‘intelligent’/evolved enough to pass it].

Or, is the vortex going to win? Is the black hole going to pull us in? Are we navigating the cosmic whirlpool alone with no-one to save us from drowning?

Mythology and spiritual belief predict Mankind has enough presence of mind to make a quantum leap in consciousness, to save itself. History says it’s never too late to start anew. Native American and Maya traditions say now is a good time.

Hole in the Galaxy: Touching Source

We’ve done it again. We touched base with Galactic Center on January 3rd and now we in our orbit round the sun are spiraling away, at a daily rate of four light minutes, off in the opposite direction. It is the ultimate cosmic paradox. As our days get longer, as the sun gives us four minutes more light each day until June, we are retreating from the point in the Milky Way Galaxy from which [in the view of many esoteric disciplines/world religions] we emerged. And to which, in an every-decreasing spiral, we are returning.

It takes eight minutes for light from the sun to reach us, and our solar life-giver, our connection to the stars from which we as stardust emerged, does this little wobble towards Galactic Center, the (w)hole in the middle of the Universe, every year at this time.

Look at it this way: Three days into our New Year, we came within eight light minutes of touching Source.

Our orbit does not come into such close proximity every year – this year is special – as were 1987, 1998 – and we will be back to reconnect with the Hole in the Cosmos at noon UTC on December 21st, 2012 when our orbit, the Sun’s position on the ecliptic and the Galactic Hole will line up exactly. That’s what we’re really aiming for.

It is for this reason that a lot of attention is focused right now on the prophecies foretold by the Elders of the Maya; their calendar which began in 3113BC comes full cycle on that date.

The Maya were like the Sumerians, the ancient Egyptians, and Judaic, Norse and Hindu traditions in their view of time. Their calendars were less a method of calculating days, moons and years, more a way of watching the movement of Creation. It was the Gregorian calendar of Roman Catholicism’s Pope Gregory XIII which in 1582 set us calculating by the sun, and which ultimately fixed our view of the Cosmos as a giant timepiece.

There is another view.

Albert Einstein and his lesser-known (younger) contemporary, Russian astrophysicist Nikolai Kozirev, had similar but diverging ideas. Dr Einstein’s general theory of relativity gave birth to modern quantum physics, seeing time-space as a spiraling continuum; Prof. Kozirev proved the existence of a tangible energy source within the Universe which he called ‘ether’ that surrounds us, affects us and with which we merge. Quantum physics talks about this ether as ‘dark energy’, zero-point energy, ‘virtual particles’.

Ether, from Greek aether, means ‘shining’. Its presence in the Cosmos has long been the subject of Mystery Schools whose teaching of self-mastery disciplines or the secret way to become an Ascended Master finally reveals itself as a key to understanding what we – the only ones of the human species to live through the actual experience of planetary awakening – are going through right now in these End Times.

Enough ether in a lightbulb to boil the oceans

Ether – aka Chi, prana, akasha, or if you prefer the scientific, ‘vacuum flux’, ‘quantum medium’ – is all around.

According to mainstream Physics, there is enough ‘ether‘ or zero point energy (ZPE) contained within the vacuum of a single lightbulb to bring all the world’s oceans to boiling point. And it is free… If we only knew how to harness and use it!

In the Quantum Physics world, all four of the basic force fields known to current thinkers: gravity, electromagnetism, weak nuclear force and strong nuclear force are in fact different forms of ether/ZPE. We are swimming in it. And, according to newest thinking, its point of emergence into our cosmic Universe is that hole at Galactic Center which we just flew past.

We are experiencing a meeting of minds: the belief systems of ancestral myth, religious thought and ancient calculation, are coming together with the current scientific take on our position in the Cosmos.

Science fiction meets science fact.

Now that we have narrowed down the parameters, we even have a date for Ascension.

Lightworkers around the globe smile and say the process has been going on for some time; aging ‘baby boomers’, last representatives of the ‘sixties hippie generation, have been lying in wait for just this moment to unfold; but what is exciting about the new ‘energy’ is that everybody is beginning to feel it.

Back to the Maya and their concept of the Time spiral.

By measuring the flow of evolution through a series of nine Ages, the Maya predicted Man’s quantum leaps through Great Cycles of ever-decreasing size until he reaches the moment of rebirth, reunion with Galactic Center, or Ascension. That moment of planetary enlightenment is a culmination of the present ongoing process of evolution in consciousness. In the view of an ever-increasing number of spiritual and New Age groups (I like to call it the Group Mind or Superconsciousness, because we are seeing its influence all around) this spiritual evolution is scheduled to be complete by winter solstice 2012. Each day now brings new evidence of its happening all around us. Spiritual consciousness, a change in personal attitudes, is happening so fast now it could all be over long before then!

Ages of Man: we enter the Age of Aquarius

Astrologically the 25,860-year ‘Platonic cycle’, through which Earth and all Creation moves from the moment of birth, is split into twelve Ages marked by the zodiacal signs. Each age traditionally shifts with our transition from volcanic rock, through creation of oceans, through embryo life, simple mammals. We, the human species, have already evolved through and transcended the last four of these Ages, each approximately 2200 years in length, catalogued in Earth’s great chronicles: the Bible, Egyptian Book of the Dead, Sanskrit Akashic Records. They flow with the precession of the equinoxes through that eon’s zodiac sign: Gemini (Man’s twin birth, the cloning of Eve from Adam’s rib), Taurus (Judaic Age of Golden Calf, Moses), Aries (Age of warlike expansion of Assyrian, Greek, Roman empires) Pisces (Age of Christianity). On February 14th last year we entered the Age of Aquarius, long heralded as the New Age.

In the Maya Long Count calendar, each successive age in human evolution is 20 times briefer than the one immediately preceding. I have written more fully about this in Hologram of Time and Sacred Endings. In essence, we are now in the last ‘Underworld’ or world spiral of time which began in 1999 and will end in 2012. As at November 8th, 2009, we entered the Sixth Night of the Galactic Wave Movement – the eighth of the nine Mayan levels – predicted to bring about the most significant transformation of consciousness ever in the history of mankind. These are exciting times to be alive. The spiral is contagious.

Kozirev saw all energy as part of this spiral: a spiral of time, space, creation, energy. The cells of all organisms grow in an asymmetrical spiral, from miniscule plankton to the Blue Whale; from the smallest ‘inert’ asteroid to the largest spiral galaxy. He knew that growth expands according to the proportions of sacred geometry, the ‘Golden Mean’, at a predetermined ratio of Fibonacci numbers – the Phi-spiral, called by the Greeks the golden ratio.

His theory is now accepted that all space surrounding the earth and within the entire Galaxy spirals clockwise (has right-hand spin). This means that all energy is influenced to spin clockwise as it travels through the physical vacuum. A spinning source emits energy; and a spinning source with more than one form of movement, such as a star, a black hole (or wormhole) rotating while also orbiting within a galaxy, produces a dynamic form of energy called torsion. This phenomenon allows torsion waves to propel through space instead of simply staying in one place. Kozirev suggested that torsion fields like gravity and electromagnetism are capable of moving from one place to another through the universe at ‘superluminal velocity’, that is, at speeds greater than light.

In his field of Exotic Physics, it is said that an impulse moving directly through the fabric of space-time at superluminal velocity (and separate from gravity or electromagnetism) – like the photon energy source emanating from the Hole at Galactic Center which is transmitting a pulsating energy beam towards Earth in increasing strength as we spiral closer – has direct influence on our cell growth, our spiraling DNA.

Our DNA is in fact being updated.

Kozirev’s ether, the clockwise torsion of Galactic Center, is not only creating a beckoning Stargate, but it is altering our physical bodies to absorb energy from this photon source, while the combined forces of ancient mythical, spiritual and New Age disciplines alter our minds. We are being prepared, whether we like it or not, for our move from the mundane to the celestial.

Unlike James Cameron’s Avatar, we are not human minds in an alien body searching for truth; rather we are becoming our own embodiment of Avatar, in the Sanskrit meaning, ‘one who descends from the heavens’ to lift ourselves aloft.

Just as we are uniting in the physical as an evolved (human) race populating the third planet from our orbiting sun, we are uniting in consciousness to become a single (Group Mind) unit which in the few days remaining of the last Great Cycle is preparing itself to ascend, to become Superconsciousness or Overmind as we return to Source.

Crop Circle Code: Messages in a Cosmic Bottle

Mysteries have always intrigued us, the human species. It isn’t difficult to see that if someone ‘out there’ wants to send us a message, one of the quickest ways to get our attention is to say it in code.

Crop circles in the last few years have been full of it.

Compared with complex designs appearing in crop circles between 2001 and 2007, however, the summers of 2008 and 2009 have been spectacular in attracting an array of this now universally-known phenomenon. We discussed the rather esoteric code delivered in 2002 in a field of swirling wheat and barley next to the radio telescope of Chilbolton. This was clearly a reply to the Arecibo message sent to the stars. One year earlier to the day in the same field another message in binary code was accompanied by a ‘face’, as though making animate the urgency of the transmission. The 2001 message, decoded, read:

Beware the bearers of false gifts and broken promises; much pain but there is still time; believe there is good out there; we oppose deceit (the deceivers); conduit is closing.

It seems we weren’t listening.

In May and June this year the earth stood within a solar minimum; no sunspot activity at all. At that time one crop circle in particular at Waden Hill, Avebury, Wiltshire appeared to predict a sudden coronal mass ejection (CME) for July 7th to coincide with the first of three eclipses. Scepticism surged. Astronomers could not agree. Solar minima didn’t traditionally spurt out a CME in the middle of a solar calm.

But that’s exactly what happened.

All day July 6th and during the total lunar eclipse of July 7, 2009, a large CME blasted out from the sun’s prominences and headed for Earth.

There had been another message in a crop circle bottle, summarily dismissed along with the July 7th prediction as ‘unlikely’ by astronomers: this crop circle suggested an even larger solar flare for the second occultation, a total solar eclipse over Asia on July 22, 2009. Recorders went back to the ‘bottle’ to see what it contained.

On July 22nd during totality, a solar flare did not materialize, but something different, something much greater, did.

It is difficult to understand the size of the plasma ejection which poured into the jet stream on that day and for subsequent 72 hours.

A massive energy outburst of this magnitude is usually associated with deep space; not our little sun. It is the kind of cosmic halo which surrounds the explosion of a supernova, a high energy source such as a black hole, the last expression of a dying star like the beautiful butterfly nebula, 4000-light-years distant, or the creation of a stellar collision like the hourglass nebula featured (top).

Yet such a plasma outburst occurred within the energy emission at approximately 12 hours Universal Time on July 22, 2009 and its effects were felt on Earth for the next two months.

The message in the bottle was fairly direct. It materialized. So why aren’t we paying much closer attention?

There have been other communications. Like the sextant as a guide to the stars which appeared on three successive nights in wheat at Alton Barnes, Wiltshire on June 23, 2009; and the swallow series. Swallows with even more convoluted Mayan code attached to their tails.

Swallow crop circles appeared at Milk Hill, Adam’s Grave, Wiltshire in August 2003 in wheat; a simple circular formation was created at Wexcombe Down, Wiltshire in May 2007; a double formation of swallows created in two overnight phases appeared in July 2008 in South Field, Alton Priors, Wiltshire. A year later in the same field, a gigantic Swallow crop circle appeared on June 27, 2009 with apparent Mayan-style codex symbols streaming in its wake.

Swallow in totemism signifies ‘light in the darkness’, objectivity and perspective; even on the most prosaic rustic level, the arrival of swallows in country barns and farm steadings heralds the onset of summer; implies protection and warmth in the home. When swallows depart, summer is gone too.

A bird in flight is the universal symbol of spirit and spiritual ascension. In New Age spiritual terms, humanity’s unified presence takes the form of a vast white bird: it flies in formation with a host of smaller birds as One. It has been called the Merkabah, the Birdstar, the Swallow. It is our vehicle for mass ascension.

There are those who would prognosticate doom and gloom as the message in the myriad crop formations over the last few years connected with the Great Cycle of the Maya, completing in 2012. That is material for several blogs in itself. Others point out that, while swallows arrived in Britain 10 days early this year, they left at equinox: an unprecedented five weeks early. Separation anxiety, war, famine, pestilence, plague.

Conversely, New Age teaching advocates the coming together of humanity as like-minds, like-bodies, like-spirits; suggesting the sooner we begin to feel our unification as a species, the sooner shall we ascend to the next level of evolution. The coming of swallows in crop circles seems to predict an event where we rise as One and grasp our power as individuals and as a Race. The Swallow, the Bird Star is not some fantasy starship or alien vessel come to call; the swallow is the symbol of our Unified Presence as the Mind of the Planet.

Judging by messages in 2008-2009 crop circles, coded or otherwise, their predictions are being fulfilled within a brief timespan of their imprint in the earth.

It would be a illuminating to believe that the message in the spiritual bottle brought by the swallows suggests that we, humanity, are standing on the threshold of a new dawn; that we are about to shed our earthbound worries, fears, doubts, differences and fledge as One over the New Earth.
