Cereal Waveforms: Mother Alien and Ripening Consciousness

July 11, 2012

Following Britain’s ‘wettest’ June, and peering out—through continuing rainclouds and drizzle—with five days to go until mid-July, St. Swithun’s Day, traditionally a day which sets the weather pattern in stone, I may be forgiven if I entice you for a moment into a little fantasy dreamed over the last month, bathed in a field of energy beneath the electromagnetic landscape of Wiltshire. I hope, at least, that its fantasy theme will enhance your day, and bring an improvement to the 2012 (rainy) season; I hope at best to add a little flavour to the amazing range of crop circle symbols—cereal waveforms as messages—which have struggled in punishing weather conditions, but appear to flourish in the Wiltshire grain basket.

This little crop circle story is brought to you by courtesy of~~~the Alien Mother.

Alien Mama makes a Nest

Mother Alien, swims up from the depths of the electromagnetic aquifer, crop circle at Milk Hill, Alton Barnes, June 25th, 2012

Mother Alien appeared first, June 25th, 2012 below Milk Hill White Horse, as if swimming up from the electromagnetic depths of the aquifer to greet her three wayward children, spawned earlier in the month at Woodborough Hill.

Her impact lasted only a few days, before an audience of stunned onlookers—admiring her sacred geometrical simplicity and sense of dimension portrayed as a 2D image in a cornfield, as viewed from above—when another image, less exquisitely formed, arrived at Boreham Wood, marginally north of the expected CC-hub, July 5th—smiling.

Throughout a wet June, fewer than usual crop imprints had occurred, and so when July opened, not only with a dry sunny day, but also three geometrically-inspired designs in sacred Avebury heartland, which radiates outwards from the Sacred Triangle—Avebury-Silbury Hill-Kennet—there was cheering in the ranks: a dimensional cube at Chilcomb Down, Hampshire; the stunningly-crafted flower-of-life motif within a pyramid (dimensions imagined) at Avebury, above, were joined on July 1st by a star-tetrahedron [20-sided merkabah] at Wanborough-Liddington. For good measure, a fourth cropcircle formed the same day in Telford Shropshire, to surround that endangered forest in cropcircle energy.

But in the Wiltshire heartland, it seems, the Alien Mother had surfaced and had major plans.

Alien sci-fi movies influenced a generation—giving Alien Mother a familiar feel

The Alien Mother motif, as a symbol for the energy of the Earth—but, in popular consciousness, clearly identified with the creature in an impressive Sigourney Weaver repertoire—was indeed seen as a serpent or dragon force by ancient peoples. Wessex was no exception. Peoples here were so aware of dragon energy that they erected megalithic monuments to trap it, harness it, redirect it and also worship/honour it. It was believed that the movement of the sun also affected the strength of this force, see Rollright Stones and the Dragon Project. Then for centuries, the British Isles succumbed to industrial ‘thinking’, with few believers left in this ancient energy and its power; but Science is turning matters around again, with increasing knowledge of the heliosphere, earth’s magnetosphere, dimensional physics, and the discovery of the Higgs-Boson ‘God particle’ last week. So Mother E/A chose a good time to return.

AlienMother=EarthMother:not so alien, but we humans have difficulty seeing her as ‘real’; curls up at Picked Hill, July 9th.

Remembering that the appearance of the Mother E/A was heralded by three tadpole hatchlings at Woodborough Hill one month ago on June 9th, my feeling is she has been here before—Milk Hill design of July 2010, below right—and it is my fancy that she is here to stay—even has developments up her sleeve~~~

Less fluid, more stilted version of serpent head of July 25, 2010 at Milk Hill

Humans are fascinated by symbols, code; messages from an ‘other’ culture is therefore like a box of magic tricks: we have to decypher, to decode, to understand.

There is one significant crop circle message that has eluded interpretation: the triple-stage ‘astrolabe’ of Milk Hill, below, with its planetary orbits and intricate coded tail that formed over three nights during solstice week, 2009, to the astonishment of Kornkreis-followers. Another, more stilted, less flowing serpentine formation appeared, also at Milk Hill, on July 25th, 2010.

Now three years after the astrolabe, are we seeing our alien mother’s metamorphosis as a message?—a physical extension of a dimensional vibration—that we are still grasping to comprehend: emanating from the same electromagnetic subsoil and rock that produced the White Horse, and capable of manifesting specific ground forces into the human timeframe, perhaps even telling us she was gestating…

Let the story unfold…

Mother Alien emerges from the Astrolabe, which presaged her birth; Milk Hill motifs, left, Astrolabe, solstice week, June 21-29, 2009; right, emerging ‘dragon energy’ June 25, 2012 in adjacent field

She appeared right after solstice, on June 25th 2012, in the adjacent field, as if the energy of Milk Hill—in folk memory a white horse, symbol of power—stored up for three years—was now bursting out. Her tail lines up west, the direction back to the astrolabe ‘ghost’, from which she came—but her head is turned south, in the direction she is headed: towards her babies—and ultimately to her nest at Picked Hill.

A white horse in prehistoric cultures was symbolic of the power/life-force, and ancient Britons were, like their Greek, Persian and Indian counterparts, reverent of this supernatural power which was deeply manifested within the earth. It is amusing to think that our 21st Century technology is only just recognizing these powerful surges and currents.

Seeing our alien mother friend as a physical extension of a dimensional vibration we may still feel like novices, but there is a glimmer of understanding now, of the electromagnetic subterranean milieu—a network of water, rock and energy—which is capable of producing specific ground forces, resulting in designs of enormous resonance.

Is it beyond our everyday reach to believe that this force might have intelligence?

If crop circles are made by hoaxers, then they should stop doing it, because they are breaking the law and damaging the food supply. If they are made by UFO aliens, they shouldn’t give us the dates of our trips to Mars and names of men from the Titanic era – famous, clever, but now forgotten. If some are transcendental, the power behind it should realize that our culture is now willing to accept transcendental happenings. If they are indeed transcendental, then society will have to make a big adjustment in the years ahead.
Gerald S Hawkins

While Mother Alien lurked in the ethers, unmanifested, her three tadpole offspring braved the physical world and surfaced in the grain of Woodborough, June 9th. She arrived herself June 25th, below Milk Hill; turning south, as if acknowledging their presence. On the same day an ill-formed (incomplete/embryo?) single tadpole appeared nearby at Knoll Down, Beckhampton. Next came the ?possibly-hoaxed smiling alien caterpillar, July 5th at Boreham Wood, Lockeridge; it seems somehow not as beautiful, nor as purposeful as Mother E/A—but it too had a precursor in the embryo serpent spiral CC of nearby Honey Street, June 26th last year.

Woodborough tadpoles, a half mile distant from M.Alien’s nest

Then, lo and behold, on July 9th, as if with foresight seen by her previous Milk Hill incarnation, the great Mother E/A finds a place to curl up and nest at Picked Hill; this beautifully crafted crop circle lies within half-a-mile of her tadpole swimmers; and is coincidentally on exactly the same latitude parallel as they are: map ref. Woodborough hill SU117611 ; Picked hill SU126611.

It is no wonder the crop circle crowd are no longer clamouring for symbols. The energy is unfolding before their eyes.

A miracle happens whenever some other unseen world intersects with our own
C.S. Lewis ‘Miracles’ (1949)

When in 1969 New Age antiquarian and ‘conservative anarchist’ John Michell (1933-2009) proposed in ‘A View over Atlantis’ that sacred sites were connected by invisible lines of energy, his theories were challenged by the establishment.

“This forcefield may actually be invisible to those whose previous knowledge tells them it cannot exist”, he said famously. Now, such electromagnetic fields are measured; while plasma physics and electric Universe theory—as well as Higgs-boson—are catching up and proving him right, after all.

“I am passionate that this knowledge—of sacred gematrial and numerological relationship between man and temple—should be public, not secret, so that it may not be lost to mankind. For it is the heritage of every man and woman—their spiritual birthright.”
Israel Regardie

A devoté of occultist Regardie, Michell considered himself the (20thC) Merlin, who having lost faith in traditional belief, rediscovered it in the Earth: and through the writing of the pragmatic Watkins (Old Straight Track of ‘ley lines’ fame), Gerald Hawkins (who Decoded Stonehenge, 1965, 1973) and Alexander Thom—whose 1967 survey of British megalithic sites established the megalithic yard as a prehistoric standard of measurement. He was a firm believer in the St Michael alignment, a succession of ancient monuments which run from the tip of Cornwall to the Norfolk coast. Michell was delighted when Don Robins’ Dragon Project at Rollright confirmed that this subterranean forcefield did seem to be enhanced and revved up by the appearance of sunlight—at dawn and dusk, particularly—believing as he did that ‘invoking the Sun’ was a crucial sacred ritual performed by our Ancestors, which we have forgotten how to employ.

Hence, John Michell might say, the dreary British summer of 2012.

Curling cozily next to her offspring, Mother Alien awaits her awakening by the Sun

During the British summer soak, however, Solar proton storms have been bombarding Earth—with class M and X-flares a constant in the last ten days—playing havoc with internet connections and manmade electronic equipment; see NOAA solar & geomagnetospheric indicator, sidebar right; but it seems the electromagnetic field—particularly in Wiltshire—is thriving. The dragon lady is lying in wait, anticipating perhaps the return of the sun, to show us more miracles from her unseen and previously unimagined realm of the limestone aquifers under the sacred soil.

While I merely dreamed of the Lady of the Dragon Line, her appearance so close to her babies is too cozy not to be deliberate. So I await developments—along with some of you, who I hope have enjoyed my fantasy—in anticipation that somehow the power she hides beneath her slumbering curves, may again manifest in an even-more-fantastical form this season, to show us that we humans have indeed punctured the Mother Earth’s veil, and she, friendly matriarchal presence that she is, is pleased to play the game with us, until we learn what our forebears already knew from birth: the deep connection we hold (so irresponsibily, sometimes even lightly) with our parent, the Blue Planet.

Dragon in the Ground: Cropcircles and the Scalar Wave

September 22, 2011

“Electric power is everywhere present in unlimited quantities and can drive the world’s machinery without the need of coal, oil, gas, or any other of the common fuels”
Nikola Tesla 1856-1943

Within the earth’s magnetosphere — the electrical shield which functions as a smaller planetary dynamo equivalent to the sun’s huge electromagnetic field — there is a spinning scalar vortex running through the earth which is apparently kept in place by the moon’s position and rotation around the earth.

It is precisely held.

We always see only the single face of the moon, in all her phases, inclined towards Earth in permanent gaze — a geomagnetic/lunar arrangement which is scientifically impossible according to simple gravitational theory — only one of the moon’s many anomalies which few except plasma scientists will touch.

West Woodhay Down Inkpen crop circle July 29, 2011: serpent-dragon represents scalar wave technology seen in our double-helix DNA and the farthest spiral galaxy

However, the moon seems to perpetuate this axial configuration on a scalar electromagnetic level, pulling earth’s tides and in turn being pulled closer and repelled by earth herself. These motions are embedded within the ancient characteristics of astrology, surrounding the Moon’s North and South Nodes, imaginary locations which have been known from time immemorial as the Dragon’s head and Dragon’s tail.

Both legend and astrology connect the Nodes with the ascendant, a point representing the rose-colored glasses we constantly look through (both directions) as we occupy an avatar, in this plane on the surface of the globe.

Iapetus, 7th of Saturn's 33 moons, like our Moon, always shows one face to its ringed parent. Named for Uranus' Titan son, Iapetus fathered Prometheus and Atlas

The serpent, ‘Lucifer’, ‘angel-of-the-dawn’, the light-bearer all signal the astrological ‘ascendant’, calculated as the point where the light of dawn shines on that part of the world when the subject of the astro-chart is born. It gives the chart its orientation and reveals the functional level where unseen forces manipulate development and motion or flow of life within the incarnate who inhabits the avatar.

In Hinduism, an avatar, Hindi: [ˈəvət̪ɑːr], English: /ˈæv.ə.tɑːr/, (avatāra: Devanagari अवतार, Sanskrit for “descent” [viz., from Heaven to Earth]) is a deliberate descent of a deity from heaven to earth, or a descent of the Supreme Being (i.e., Vishnu for Vaishnavites) and is mostly translated into English as “incarnation”, but more accurately as “appearance” or “manifestation”.

Earth's 'Becker-Hagens' energetic grid concentrated into nodes where tetrahedra meet

From this constant flow and vibration, electromagnetic resonance of the earth can be calculated. That results in a shape (wave, graph, grid) for the resonance, which allowed Berthe Hagens and Bill Becker to devise the Becker-Hagens vortex grid. This earth grid is based on known energy focal points (Wiltshire-speak’s ley lines) with its nodes spaced in configurations exactly matching the Platonic solids: the cube, tetrahedron, octahedron, dodecahedron, and icosahedron.

The 5 Platonic solids (Tetrahedron, Cube or Hexahedron-6, Octahedron-8, Dodecahedron-12 and Icosahedron-20) are ideal, primal models of crystal patterns which occur throughout the world of minerals in countless variation. Because of their intrinsic use by Mother Nature, they are known as forms of Sacred Geometry.

Earthstar vortex map: grid for western North America showing energy vortices at Sedona, AZ, Mt.Whitney, Lake Tahoe, Mt.Shasta and Three Sisters, OR

The earth’s own neutral center is a dimensional window that vibrates at frequencies resonant with the earth’s own spherical harmonics. I’m not certain whether these spherical harmonics correlate to mechanical, electromagnetic, or gravitational vibrations. Whatever the case, standing waves are set up that create equally-spaced node and antinodal points on earth’s surface.
David R Cowan, author of Ley Lines and Earth Energies and Safe as Houses

The Becker-Hagens Grid incorporates the Platonic solids and the 20-sided icosahedron to create a grid of 62 points. It is worth reading their work, as they delve deeply into the historical background for such an earth grid.

This dual vortex (in opposing directions) has a continuous flow that rings the earth like a large horn or bell. Their research seems to indicate that the moon exerts influence via interference with the earth’s original energies.

Interestingly, the same grid was well-known to the ancients who built megalithic structures at nodal points on land and knew to navigate around such energy vortices (as Great Abaco-Bermuda Triangle, Corryvreckan and the Maelstrøm) in the oceans.

Old Bewick, Northumberland Neolithic cupmarked rock -- reminiscent of crop circle design -- carved to capture and store earth energy from sunlight

The Dragon Project of Dr G.V. (Don) Robins was one of the first to document measureable energy fluxes at such Neolithic sites as Rollright Stones in the 1980s. The eponymous Dragon was that magical energy stored in the ground which ancient myth likened to a sleeping dragon: the same beast which early Christian saints — Michael and George — slew in their efforts to wean country people (pagans, fr. Latin, paganus, country person) away from such ‘nonsensical’ belief in earth magick and superstition in an earth energy rivaling God.

Robins’s Geiger counter and ultrasound readings were anomalously absent inside the stone circle precinct at Rollright, Oxfordshire, compared with background radiation outside the stone periphery. He measured the nearby King Stone, a huge outlier, over a period of five years, finding that it pulsed regularly each day at 30 minutes and 10 minutes before dawn, with pulsations strongest at the equinoxes and less marked at the solstices.
Don Robins, “The Dragon Project and the Talking Stones,” New Scientist, 96: 166, 1982.

Guy Underwood, author of Patterns of the Past, and Tom Graves Needles of Stone recorded anomalies at Arbor Low in Derbyshire and Long Meg, Cumbria. Locally, it was common knowledge that larks and swallows seemed drawn to the ultrasound emanating at both stone circles. Gerald Hawkins’ team found high-energy readings emitted from a cupmarked circle stone at Temple Wood, Kilmartin, Argyll in 1973.

Neolithic stone circles in Aberdeenshire have documented high-energy, thought to be ‘stored’ in the quartz inclusions present in many granite ‘recumbent’ stones chosen specifically for placement in the southwest of the circle to ‘capture’ the dying sun in midwinter, major standstill moonset and the setting sun in the north at summer solstice. As with stone circles in Northern England and Wiltshire, most are placed over underground aquifers where it is thought the stones acted as ‘radio masts’ to collect the subterranean energy and transmit it above ground along the planetary grid.

Aberdeenshire also has its ‘ringing’ stones which sounded like a bell when dawn sunlight hit. A similar phenomenon was recorded by Strabo at Thebes when the northern quartz Colossus of Memnon sang at dawn.

Nikola Tesla discovered 'radiant energy' in scalar waveforms

Nikola Tesla discovered in 1901 that when a metal was illuminated by high-frequency light (e.g. ultraviolet light), electrons were ejected from the metal at high energy. This work was based on the previous knowledge that light acting on metals produces a current, but Tesla was the first to describe it as a particle phenomenon. Further, it was discovered within the year that energy emitted by these ejecting electrons did not depend on its intensity but its frequency (wave-form): in order to produce high energy electrons, one must illuminate the metal with high-frequency light. The more light there is, the more electrons are ejected, but intensity depended on frequency alone. This very interesting discovery was intrinsic in the Manhattan Project‘s production of the first ‘atom’ bomb.

However, more recent — and ongoing — research into e.g. CERN’s Higgs-Boson particle and OPERA at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), has much wider (and potentially more hazardous) implications for mankind, should present work on electromagnetic scalar wave technology be controlled and used for destructive, rather than constructive purposes, in leading humanity through its present crisis.

The Photon Phantasm and Time Travel
When Einstein received his Nobel Prize in 1921, it was not for his more difficult and mathematically-laborious special and general relativity, but for the simple, yet totally revolutionary, suggestion of quantized light.

Einstein’s “light quanta” are what we now call photons. They are a quintessential example of light’s wave–particle duality.

Electromagnetic radiation propagates following linear wave equations, but can only be emitted or absorbed as discrete elements — thus acting simultaneously as both a particle and a wave.

Milk Hill, Alton Barnes figure of eight crop circle of 08:08:08 -- ideal representation of a scalar wave

“Scalar waves are produced when two electromagnetic waves of the same frequency are exactly out of phase (opposite to each other) and the amplitudes subtract and cancel each other. The result is not exactly an annihilation of magnetic fields but a transformation of energy back into a scalar wave. This scalar field has reverted back to a vacuum state of potentiality. Scalar waves can be created by wrapping electrical wires around a figure eight in the shape of a Möbius coil. When an electric current flows through the wires in opposite directions, the opposing electromagnetic fields from the two wires cancel each other and create a scalar wave.”

“The only way of discovering the limits of the possible is to venture a little way past them — into the impossible.”

Clarke’s Second Law

Möbius coil within our DNA: scalar wave technology at the micro level

“The DNA antenna in our cells’ energy production centers (mitochondria) assumes the shape of what is called a supercoil. Supercoil DNA looks like a series of Möbius coils. These Möbius DNA supercoils are hypothetically able to generate scalar waves. Most cells in the body contain thousands of these Möbius supercoils, which are generating scalar waves throughout the cell and throughout the body.”
Dr. Stephen Linsteadt, Holographic Repatterning Practitioner

“There is enough energy inside the space of an empty tea-cup to boil all the oceans of the world”
Richard Feynman

Despite ongoing demands on world nations’ already overstretched budgets for potentially-hazardous nuclear power and coal-generation plants, little focus falls on the fact that during the 1930s, the US Navy, Stanford University and General Electric exploited Tesla’s free energy system. While some of the patented equipment they used is too complex for the lay person to understand, Bill Morgan simplifies in his ‘beginner’s guide’ what he calls the ‘Scalar Wars’ of the free-energy movement begun by Tom Bearden.

One of the first scalar wave crop circles of 2011 appeared 13th July at Windmill Hill, along with two sameday Wiltshire companions -- at Chaddenwick Hill, Mere and Stonehenge

The layman will need to understand that there is a new kind of energy that is altogether different from what he knows, e.g. radio, TV, cell phones, etc. This is electromagnetic energy. Ordinary EM waves that we have known about are called transverse EM waves, to distinguish them from the new longitudinal EM waves. These scalar waves do not actually exist in our ‘material’ world, but exist only in the space dimension, or the time domain. And we must keep in mind that this space exists all through everything. Our bodies are mostly empty space between atoms and molecules. So the gateway to this ocean of energy can be there at every point in the universe. This seething ocean of energy is all around us and all through us.
Bill Morgan, Brave New World of Scalar Electromagnetics

Needless to say, Bearden stresses the destructive potential of military and power-driven use of such technology.

Two scalar-wave crop spirals on same day in Wiltshire: left, Windmill Hill spirals clockwise; rt. Chaddenwick Hill counterclockwise. Photos courtesy CCC

“If Bearden is correct in his Scalar EM theory, then we can build devices which would enable us to alter gravity, time, inertia, and the apparent mass of an object. This of course has enormous implications for military applications, space-vehicle drives, time-travel, teleportation, paranormal phenomena, and just about every other area one can think of.”
Rick Andersen ‘What is Scalar Electromagnetics?’

It is important to remember that (in astrophysics and hydrodynamics) scalar wave fields exist in a fifth-dimensional, non-linear, context. Third-dimensional laws of nature do not operate here. Scalar wave fields exist out of our relative time (4th) and space (3rd) dimensions and as such, do not decay over time or distance. As we explore higher dimensions, we begin to encounter new parameters, new ways of thinking.

ET timetravel sequence
There is another, benevolent, aspect to what Einstein called zero-point energy — Tesla’s ‘radiant energy’ — which few may have read about.

The planets as renditions of perfect sacred geometry, image John Martineau

Jesse Errol Stewart describes in vivid (and technical) detail his introduction through a family member to a group who had mastered the use of ‘zero-point’ nodes — specific locations on the earth, like Great Abaco, Transvaal and Giza — where not only was energy neutralized, but the time spectrum opened up as well: a situation akin to using a locus to move at will between dimensions; a time portal. We take the Siderealview that it is appropriate to include his observations here because they are so truthfully and lucidly presented, and because world consciousness is becoming aware of the imminent electromagnetic interface encountered when one moves from one level of ‘reality’ to another. See previous Siderealview posts on quantum and dimensional awareness. It is not as if we are not already blessed with several decades’ worth of Star Trek, Back to the Future and the writings of Arthur C. Clarke, Robert Heinlein and H.G. Wells. It seems somehow natural now to open ourselves to the possibility of moving at will through the time dimension. For this is what Jesse Stewart’s group did, using scalar wave technology:

“Our initial research had indicated that the tetrahedron was the most effective geometric form to use in conjunction with the tensor coil, which is an exceptionally strong scalar wave generator. In the Qabala, a tensor coil is mounted on each of the vertices of the tetrahedron configuration and each of these scalar wave generators is aimed towards the exact center (Scalar rendezvous point) of the tetrahedron. The effects of the pulsed scalar wave generation are incredible in that within the rendezvous point the concentrated scalar activity generates intense electromagnetic fields that cut across multiple dimensions. Once these electromagnetic fields become defined they will begin to expand outward at an exponential rate if the scalar wave generation is not tightly controlled.”
Jesse Errol Stewart Time Vector Field Chronicles

Bill Morgan simplifies Bearden, describing Longitudinal EM energy which fills the ‘vacuum’ of space, the time domain of spacetime, and expresses time as compressed energy, with the equation E = Δtc2, above, as waves of time, or Energy equals (delta=change) in Time accelerated to the speed of light, squared.

We can travel to the distant stars. And now the wormhole of time — compressed energy — is opening up before our eyes.

What synchronicity. Just when we had all mastered Einstein’s other equation: E = MC2.

In typical positive style, Morgan suggests solutions to the energy crisis and the “oil problem” are in hand. That oil wars are unnecessary because there is endless energy freely available from the domain of time. Also that future cure of all disease is within our grasp. This ability was also suggested by Jesse Stewart’s time travel group, who used the mechanism of returning to NOW from the past as a means towards youthening and restoring health. They called it Regenesis.

We have obstacles to overcome, however:

Saturn's dark side: distant Sun illuminates dust, debris, fabulous rings; NASA Cassini orbiter photo

Unbelievably powerful weapons are not only possible, but are already operating in several nations. The many powers of these weapons are unprecedented and mind-boggling.

Mind control on a mass scale (via electromagnetic tweaking of our human circuitry) has now become possible, and machines to do it are already in place in certain nations. It has become possible mentally to enslave whole populations with the twist of a few dials.

With these warnings, there is much work ahead for us, the human family, to accomplish; with only a window of opportunity of a couple of years.

Jesse Stewart’s travelers also gave an account of a crisis facing Humanity in the 2013-2015 time window: that other dimensional civilizations share consciousness that helps them rely on a centralized benevolent Intelligence which guides actions and words, subdues conflict and spreads a loving and compassionate feeling within all interaction. He suggests Humanity is learning how to think as Group Consciousness, but that we shall have to speed up our ability to use this intuitive capacity — this inner loving guidance system — very rapidly, if we are to weather the storm and defuse the threat posed by such massive weaponry as some less-disciplined nations possess.

They see this as our current dilemma: the human crisis. None of the future scenarios envisaged by either time-frame dimension is able to penetrate the 2013-2015 window: the glass is dark. Our Human future is in our hands.

We must write that chapter ourselves.

Now that we can travel to the stars, it’s time to take care of business at home. And it is crucial that we take our own collective consciousness concept seriously.

We are creators. More than ever before, our future depends on us.

Vesica Piscis: Mother Earth and the Creative Force

August 7, 2011

Waylands Smithy Vesica Piscis crop circle, August 4th, 2011 -- sacred geometric co-radial circles where circumference of each shares the center of the other -- its central axis symbolizing the Cosmic Birth Canal to which, according to the Maya, all life returns in December 2012

The symbol of an ovoid –an egg– expresses the the primordial form of everything manifest, from atom to globe, from man to angel. The spheroid is with all nations the emblem of eternity and infinity —- a serpent swallowing its own tail. To realize the meaning, however, the sphere must be thought of as seen from its centre
Helena Petrovna Blavatsky, The Secret Doctrine

The Vesica Piscis in sacred tradition — from Kabbalist to Vedic to Zen — is considered to represent the female organ of creation. Its circular shape invokes an intertwining of feminine energies, Mother Earth’s womb, a mingling of Nature and primeval cultural reverence: it is a symbol seen in all ancient graphical traditions, from pagan Sun Wheel, Celtic cross, architectural ‘golden mean‘ to sacred windows in cathedrals, mosques, tabernacles and pagodas.

The Vesica Piscis also represented to the Maya the summer and winter solstices in any time cycle. To them the Vesica Piscis shape held the Cycle of the Ages — the Precession of the Equinoxes, less of a calculation of Time; more as a symbol of evolution of consciousness. We are experiencing this change now as we move from one World Age (Christian Age of Pisces, 0BC-AD2000) to another (‘New Age’ of Aquarius).

Its Latin meaning, lit. bladder of the fish, may seem to lessen its sacred quality to the prosaic, but it remains connected in a bodily way and in the geometric sense in all cultures — East and West.

Antediluvian Meaning
In earliest traditions, the supreme being was represented by a sphere, the symbol of a Creator with no beginning and no end, continually existing, perfectly formed and profoundly symmetrical. The addition of a second sphere represented the expansion of unity into the duality of female and male. By overlapping, both spheres — goddess and god — created a divine offspring. The Vesica Piscis with its derivatives, the Flower of Life, Tree of Life, and fundamentals of geometry, has a history of thousands of years, easily predating all major religions of the current era.

A theme running through several recent crop circle seasons — most striking from 2007 on — has been the suggestion by the ‘Circlemakers’ that we return to the wisdom of our roots: roots in our native Earth, roots of our tradition, our sacred beginnings. Since it is presently clear to almost anyone in the Western World that in pursuing our headlong drive for power, riches and exploitation over balance, human warmth and respect for the earth, we have gone seriously awry. It might seem that our combined consciousness — that deep level of awareness we share beneath the cultural façade; what Terence McKenna called Humanity’s Oversoul — has chosen to ‘wake us up’ by bringing us (those genuine electromagnetically-produced) crop circles each year, to educate us and lead us gently towards a more loving future.

Perhaps, therefore, we should not be surprised by the ingenuity and wry sense of humor of the Circlemakers.

For instance, this year in May — while we were all looking forward rather than looking at the miracles of the season — a quiet little ring appeared in green barley at East Kennet. It lay within one field’s breadth (roughly 10 acres) of one of Wiltshire’s most ancient shrines — the Neolithic tomb (long barrow) of West Kennet. Several 5,000-year old monuments lie — inter-visible — in this densely-built Neolithic landscape within two miles of Avebury’s Great Stone Circles.

Stonehenge and its magical meridian (51ºN) aside, the modern British are not particularly drawn to ancient shrines for their sacred quality, but crop circles — appearing within the same landscape and overlying the same limestone aquifer that produces measurable electromagnetic resonance (likened to human meditational alpha waves) — have been drawing them in. Nobody who has spent time in a pristine formation can deny it holds an ‘atmosphere’, an energy which can be uplifting, almost surreal. There is a growing body of evidence that crop circles are indeed produced through the medium of light and sound.

When the East Kennet circle first appeared, Stuart Dike, one of the long-time stalwarts of CropCircleConnector, crop circle ‘bible’, said at the time:

East Kennet crop design, May 17th, was ringed by extra circles June 22. If seen as the 'negative', it acquired a mirror-image 'positive' at West Kennet, July 25th 2011,
photo Olivier Morel

It certainly takes me back to over twenty years ago, from the 1990 days in Wiltshire. This is what we were all used to seeing back then, very simple designs, with a sense of excitement of what they could become. It’s a great indication that the earlier designs are very much part of what’s occurring today: the precursor of what was to be an evolutionary road in geometry and complexity. Perhaps the phenomenon is telling us not to ignore the purity of what was occurring at the very beginning.

Little did we know that the Circlemakers had further plans for that small field. One month later, during excitement of solstice and a profusion of appearances (2 at Stonehenge + 4 more in the vicinity over a 2-day period), nobody seemed to notice that East Kennet had acquired three concentric rings (June 22).

Then exactly a month after that, on July 22, attention focused on the intricate and superb ‘spider-web’ headdress formation which appeared in an adjoining field (East Kennet-2). There followed in quick succession two exceptionally graphic ‘suggestive’ crop designs at Roundway (1 & 2, July 23 & 25) –appearing to advocate humanity’s opening its third eye, releasing the body’s natural happiness hormone, melatonin— so, once again a little mirror appearance the same day — at West Kennet Long Barrow itself this time, next to the passage grave — seemed less than significant.

Working behind the scenes are a multitude of local altruistic researchers (CCC, above, is one of many). Their common bond is that they believe that ‘genuine’ crop circles are phenomena somehow produced through an electromagnetic or dimensional medium, either by light, sound or other variants within that vast spectrum. Sometimes, when local conditions are just right, a substance colloquially known as ‘angel hair’ (documented as being found after UFO sightings) has been deposited and can be measured, if collected within the first few hours after a formation has been laid down. Researchers in this field include the Massachusetts-based BLT, the British Harmony Blue group, and the CircularSite in the Netherlands,. They are consequently disappointed and nonplussed by world media efforts to persevere in ‘replicating’ crop circles, as has been tried on several occasions. Research on the dimensional/spiritual nature of real crop circles continues. On the morning the West Kennet circle motif appeared, the HarmonyBlue team found angel hair in the West Kennet formation (‘spiderweb’ photo, above).

There is even the suggestion — by the much more charismatic ‘spider-web’ crop appearance at East Kennet on July 22 — that the Circlemakers were telling them where to look!

Sacred geometry

The Vesica Piscis is the root principle in sacred geometry, interlocking circles which share radii, cosmically and intrinsically entwined. In precise mathematical measurement, where the circumference of each shares the center of the other, the ratio between the width of the vesica piscis to its height is the square root of 3, or approximately 1.7320508…

A mathematical sub-note: if straight lines are drawn between the centers of both circles with each other and with the two points where their circumferences intersect, two equilateral triangles can be formed, joining along an edge.

Eye of consciousness, complete with eyelashes! Crop circle at Silbury Hill, Avebury August 2, 2011

Archimedes of Syracuse, 287-212BC, Greek mathematician, physicist, engineer, inventor and astronomer, in his On the Measurement of the Circle, used these ratios:

In Christian tradition this sacred number –153– appears miraculously in the Gospel of John [21:11] as the number of fishes which Jesus of Nazareth caused to be manifested in the Feeding of the Multitude story. Since all Judaic written (Biblical) tradition centered on sacred number, numerological sequence and coded word combinations/number of letters used, this coincidence has a deeper meaning. The Fish — Lat. Piscis — is well-known as the secret symbol used by the Early Christians in Rome. By enumerating the total catch on the Sea of Gallilee, specific use of that sacred geometric ratio would have had meaning to early followers, aware of the significance of number.

Interlocking circles, Water & the Sacred Feminine: Vesica Piscis's sacred shape which seals the cover of the Sacred Chalice Well at Glastonbury, Somerset

Probably the best known example in England of the Vesica Piscis is the design on the wellcover of the Sacred Chalice Well at Glastonbury. While we are now culturally ignorant of number, this design resonates with us on a subliminal level (internal balance) and, seen there in a New Age context, represents the Universal symbol of the Feminine, Mother Earth, in contrast with the nearby masculine emblem of Glastonbury Tor. The Glastonbury example on the lid of the Chalice well — like the crop circle at Wayland’s Smithy (top) — contains the meridian line that runs through the centers of both circles.

Even though this archaic symbolism may not seem relevant to some after so many aeons of time, it is not unrealistic to suppose that our cultural unconscious, even blurred and insensitized by modern inconsequential minutiae in massive overdose, does at some deep level sense peace, harmony and beauty when we behold this sacred design.

Egyptian Celestial and Sacred Measure

We owe the Egyptians for the application of Sacred Geometry on the surface of the Earth.

Cosmic serpent-of-Life returning to its birth canal at the center of the Galaxy in 2012 -- West Woodhay Down, Inkpen crop circle July 29th, arrived as a prelude to the August 4th glyph (top), the Cosmic birth canal itself

Geo-metry means ‘measure of the earth’. In ancient Egypt, from which Greece and eventually the West inherited the study, the Nile would flood its banks each year, obliterating orderly demarcation of plot and farm areas. This annual inundation symbolized to the Egyptian the cyclic return of primal watery chaos, and when the waters receded the work began of redefining and re-establishing boundaries. The temple astronomer might announce that celestial configurations had changed so the orientation or location of a temple had to be adjusted. It was seen as regaining law and order, dominion over the earth. The laying of squares upon the earth had, for the Egyptian, a metaphysical as well as a physical and social dimension. This activity of measuring the earth – ‘geo-meter’- became the basis for a science of natural law embodied in the archetypal forms of circle, triangle and square.

Plato at his Academia required the study of mathematics as a prerequisite for philosophia, a term signifying “the love of wisdom” and “to lift the soul to truth.” To him, symbolic mathematics provided a map of our own inner psychological and sacred spiritual structure. Through the study of recurring harmonious patterns inherent in mathematics, music, and nature, ancient mathematical philosophers recognized that consistent correspondences occur inside the human mind and simultaneously throughout the universe.

Sacred geometric shapes: circle, triangle, square

This Zen calligraphic drawing shows Creation through the simple progression from the unity of the circle, through the triangle, to the manifest form of the square.

The circle –one– and the vesica piscis –two– were considered by ancient mathematical philosophers to be the parents of Number. Their firstborn, the triangle –three– was the ‘first’ and eldest number. Its geometric expression, the equilateral triangle, is the initial shape to emerge through the portal of the vesica piscis, the First of the Many. The square –four– was the second born.

Alpha and Omega
Mathematics and sacred geometry can take us beyond our ordinary limits to cosmic depths.

Furze or Morgan Hill, Bishops Cannings, August 6th dimensional progression on the Vesica Piscis: two cosmic parents produce a dimensional child

Man –from the Sanskrit root manas, meaning ‘Mind’, Consciousness, is a creature who can reflect upon himself. Man is not a mere constituent part –a cog– in this Universal Cycle, but he is both the final complete product of evolution and the original seed potential out of which the Universe germinated. The Alpha as well as the Omega. Both the seed and the tree: the tree of the universe is the actualization of the seed potential, which is Cosmic Man.

The World Tree of the Maya now begins to make sense. Mayan cosmology saw the Rift in the Milky Way as the the female birth canal (Yoni, Vesica Piscis) to which the Serpent of Life returns in December 2012.

Spiraling towards Source

CCC denizen Dike may have had a premonition when he said (above) that ‘the (CC) phenomenon is telling us not to ignore the purity of what was occurring at the very beginning’. Without realizing it, he may have been referring to the very beginning of Time. As we spiral onwards through the Galaxy towards our 2012 rendezvous with that primeval birth canal, we are indeed completing a cycle, coming to our ending, but also returning to our beginning.

Five Crop Circles: Mexican Wave & Water Wakeup Call

March 26, 2011

One of five crop circles in Tlapanaloya, Hidalgo, Mexico last weekend

In the last few years the eyes of the world have been fixed on Crop Circles in the (Northern hemisphere) summer months. The eyes of the world are elsewhere at the moment. So it is not surprising that five crop circles which appeared over last weekend’s Vernal Equinox in two oat fields in Tlapanaloya, 33 miles north of Mexico City were given little media attention. Reuters, the Washington Post and Mexico’s El Universal seemed to be the only news media interested in the phenomenon. They are the first new appearances since the January surprise in Java.

TLAPANALOYA is the old name for this fertile farming region, still tilled and irrigated along indigenous/traditional lines and miraculously spared in Mexico’s headlong drive for industrial ‘revolution’. In its new guise as Tepeji del Rio de Ocampo, Hidalgo, Mexico, it is surrounded by industrial development: several hydro dams, effluent canals, a bauxite-cement works at Cruz Azul, a large military installation, several multi-lane highways (autopista), a national rail line and access roads to feed nationally-supported mineral extraction and mining operations to north and west.

Tlapanaloya lies at latitude 19º52’ N longitude 99º21’W.

Mexican Cordillera L to R: Iztaccíhuatl, Popocatepétl, volcano Malinche, Cofre de Perote and Citlaltépetl

Latitude 19º is significant as the Parallel along which the southern boundary of the North American tectonic plate meets with the Central American plate. Here a line of volcanoes rising to 16,000 feet –the Cordillera de Mexico (or Neovolcanic Ridge)– stretches from the Revillagigedo Islands in the Pacific Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico. Seismic activity is frequent here, and the valley is considered an earthquake-prone zone.

Located thirty-three miles north of central Mexico City, Tlapanaloya lies within the closed basin of the ancient Valley of Mexico. At around 7,000 feet, it was the original picturesque Lake District of five lakes, and domain of the people of Teotihuacan, the Toltec and Aztec. The Toltec and Aztec spoke Nahuatl.

The Nahuatl name for the Valley of Mexico was the Anahuac, meaning the plateau or ‘place between the waters’.

Now those waters are crying out for help.

There were originally five great lakes in this stunningly beautiful setting, hemmed in on all sides by mountain peaks that rise to 16,000 feet. But in the last 200 years successive dams and reservoir construction schemes have funneled and tunneled the waters away from their traditional lakebeds and aquifers. Their clear streams were instead diverted to become waste carriers: ‘effluent’–glorified drains for the population of megalopolis Mexico City–now bursting at the seams with a central population in excess of nine million souls (2010 census 8,851,080, see MCMA, below).

Image of Eagle on Cactus in miraculous growth from Stone: Mexico-Tenochtitlan in the Mendoza codex

Mexico City’s ancient name was Mexico-Tenochtitlan after the Nahua-Aztec tribe, Mexica: it means the ‘co-‘ ‘place of the Mexica among stone cactuses’. In symbolic terms, the image (represented in Mexico’s coat-of-arms and flag) is one of an eagle perched on a cactus which grew from a stone (supreme achievement through the greatest of adversity in environment)

The Rio Tula–the Tula River, from which the nearby industrial town of Tula Allende takes its name–is, according to Mexico’s National Water Commission [Comisión Nacional del Agua de México], one of the most polluted rivers in the country. Tula (Tollan) was the Toltec capital, Tollan-Xicocotitlan in its heyday–AD8th-10thCC (Post-Classic period)*–but suffered brutally under Spanish invasions of 16thC, when its society collapsed.

The Toltec called their capital Tollan, surrounded by natural wetlands–a fertile gift from their Sun-and-star god Quetzalcoatl–Xicocotitlan, the ‘place among the reeds near the home of the wasp/bee’.

The Atlanteans of Tula Grande, basalt figures over 12feet high carved from volcanic rock guard the Toltec Tollan temple to Quetzalcoatl (AD10th-12thCC)

The great Atlantean statues which guarded the temple of serpent-god/Venus-morning-star-Queztalcoatl, prior to Tollan‘s destruction by the Spanish, have been reinstated to stand on their original plinths, rescued from the ignominious ditch where they were found buried–hidden by retreating Toltec from Spanish gaze.

Today Tula and Tlapanaloya reflect Toltec civilization in name only. And even that has changed. Tlapanaloya is now called Tepeji del Rio de Ocampo and Tula is Tula Grande or Tula Allende– a far cry from its original endearing Toltec-Oromi name: Tollan-Xicocotitlan: ‘place of the bumble-bee.’ Implication is that bees flourished in a rich hinterland where agriculture, flowers, and fruit trees blossomed. Much has changed since their culture died.

Popocátepetl, Aztec 'smoking mountain' stands at 17,802feet 33miles S of Mexico City

Coincidentally, 33miles SE of Mexico City stands the stratovolcano Popocatépetl. At 17,802 feet, its massif is also contained within the 19th parallel and its location is within one degree of longitude of the Tlapanaloya crop circles–at 19°1’24″N 98°37’20″W. It erupted last year (2010) and its present rumblings are ongoing. Its eruptions were recorded in Aztec codices and its legendary lahars and pyroclastic flows (mud and ash slides) are seen as a constant threat to Mexico City in modern times–since the city’s massive sprawl has gradually spread into the volcano’s sphere of influence.

FIVE LAKES: how many remain?
Although originally flowing through the wide Tula Valley, which could accommodate its wild seasonal fluctuations, the river was guided by an ingenious 17thC drainage system, itself a replacement for indigenous waterworks built with native stone, which for the previous 500 years supplied the local population with much-needed water in the dry season. The Tula works simultaneously provided essential water for agriculture (as the ancestors had done) and allowed excess floodwaters in the rainy season to channel from the Basin of Mexico into the Gulf. Now–thanks to gigantic 19thC dams and, more damaging to culture and ecosystems, massive bureaucratically-driven hydro-related and industrial concrete construction from 1930s onwards, the Tula River is catchment for what is left of the rivers of the Valley of Mexico basin which originally tumbled out of the five lakes: Texcoco, Chalco, Xochimilco, Xaltocan and Zumpango.

Five Great Lakes of (15thC) Valley of Mexico: only one remains and it is dammed

Tula River is part of the Pánuco Hydrologic Region, which has a long history of exploitation for its fresh artesian ground-water. The Tula itself feeds into the Rio Moctezuma which empties into the Pánuco, one mile outside the industrial ports of Tampico/Altamira and Cuidad Madero on the Gulf Coast. Altamira has major industry-standard docks for container-vessel traffic. It is no longer known for its (previous reputation as a) bird sanctuary. Tourist traffic is usually carefully diverted south to the coastal resorts of Vera Cruz or the Yucatan peninsula.

According to data from the National Water Commission of Mexico, the Tula is one of the most polluted rivers in the country. It ‘generates 409.42 million cubic meters of “wastewater” annually.’ Tula River’s pollution stems from this stream’s manmade adaptation as a channel for solid (untreated) human waste along with industrial effluent from both the Mexico City Metropolitan Area (MCMA, sic), and the ‘industrial zones’ around Tula de Allende.

Lake Texcoco was described in 15thC historical records as a huge natural reservoir–a ‘visual masterpiece’ of mountain-fed streams, wildlife-filled marshes and brackish pools. It was home to the Pelican. Agriculturally-adept and innovative, the native Indios harvested salt from the saltlakes and dammed the ‘sweet-water’ lakes for use in their agricultural terraces (traditional Chinampa ‘gardens’ or small fields). Aztec tradition records that the northern lakes were inaccessible by canoe during the dry season between October and May. When the (summer) rainy season came, Texcoco was known to ‘join up’ with its four sister lakes and canoes were again able to navigate within the lake system.

Lake Texcoco is now dry. The other lakes have gone.

Zumpango Lake (Nahuatl=Tzompantli), the northernmost of the historical lakes in the main basin of the Valley of Mexico, between the towns of Zumpango and Teoloyucan, is the only body of water left of the original five. It lies within 12 miles of the five Equinoctial crop circle formations. It is a manmade version of the original whose boundaries were formed when a canal begun in 1605 started the process of drainage in the Valley, North into the Tula River. It is still home to the 10-meter-deep canyon, the sewage-laden Gran Canal. The original lake has been drained. Only the canal and west drainage tunnel system remain.

Zumpango reservoir has suffered a gradual process of degradation by the presence of industrial operations on its shores and the influx of sewage from Mexico City. The ‘West Issuer’ tunnel, which was originally used exclusively for stormwater drainage, now transports wastewater with a high heavy metal content while increasing tonnage of human waste is discharged into Presa tributaries. Currently, state and local government officially designate it a ‘Water Sanctuary’, but there are no active conservation plans to maintain its high ecological value in the Basin for numerous migratory bird species that take refuge in its waters.

Pelican persevere here. But pollution continues by the local population, compounded by motorized tourism (aquaplaning, outboard motors), and water verges are not maintained. Motor boats disturb avian habitat. Few tourists shown the neighboring solid waste effluent make return visits. At this rate, it is a matter of time before both birds and visitors will have no refuge here.

Formerly part of five legendary lakes that made the Valley beautiful, the name Zumpango is also derived from the Nahuatl meaning ‘the place of the row of skulls’. It was a place of sacred prayer and reverence for the Ancestors. That, too, has gone.

Tourist trajineras on the canals of former lake Xochimilco

The remaining three lakes were drained by settlers from the time of Spanish Conquest, accelerated by subsequent labor, military and government initiatives. The old lakebeds are now almost entirely covered by urban development. One remnant canal at (former Lake) Xochimilco is maintained as a tourist attraction where visitors tour in trajineras (gondolas).

The axolotl, a rare salamander endemic to Lake Chalco, moved house when that Lake was drained, to take up fragile residence near the Canals of its neighboring ‘Lake’ Xochimilco, It is now considered a ‘critically endangered species’ by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

Otherwise, the historic Lake Region is now without lakes.

A whole settlement flooded by the Army in 1931 to form Presa Taxhimay

Tlapanoloya is itself ringed by further waterworks–all artificial. They are called Presas=reservoir, dam.
Presa Escondida at the southern end of the Requena Reservoir, is a small dam 3km N of Tlapanaloya; the Presa Requena Tepeji itself, within the town limits, is a reservoir still frequented by wildlife, including pelican; the Presa Escondida, a dam to the west, is polluted and has no wildlife whatsoever; the Presa Encinillas 5miles distant at Jagüeyes is skirted by six-lane Highway 57 at a busy intersection. It no longer attracts fowl and is polluted by industrial effluent from the Cruz Azul plant. It seems ironic that Highway 57 headed 100 miles NW brings pilgrims to the tiny rancho Chahin at Tlacote near Querétaro. There Señor Jesus Chahin gives away samples of spring water from his own ‘miracle’ well, an artesian supply of unrivalled purity believed to cure all ills.

Back in Tlapanaloya, the largest dam, Presa Taxhimay, formerly Laguna Taxhimay, three miles south of town, is the largest man-made Presa of them all. It was flooded by design in 1931 on the order of General Manuel Avila Camacho. In so doing he completely annihilated the Post-classic, colonial and Spanish settlements of Hacienda Catarina and San Luis Rey, whose church towers remain above the waters of Taxhimay dam surface.

Tlapanaloya Crop Circles in Chinampa ‘Gardens’

Farmer Enrique Hernandez in one of 5 crop circles in his oats in Tlapanaloya

Fortuitously, all five of last weekend’s crop circles appeared in oat meadows still farmed in the Chinampa style–planted and lovingly tended in traditional small rectangular-shaped fields by local Tlapanaloya farmer Enrique Hernandez. He was reported to be mystified by their choice of location but delighted that his crop was not spoiled. On the other hand, if he had been assured that his own way of life and his organically-grown porridge oats–now with their hugely enhanced CC/ET-vibration–were teetering on the edge of extinction, he might feel proud.

It is becoming clear that–whatever one feels about the provenance of crop circles the world over–they do occur in locations which require our attention.

Given that the Tlapanaloya crop circles did NOT contain elaborate interior designs–as are now commonplace in sophisticated annual formations on Salisbury Plain and the fields of Wiltshire’s electromagnetic aquifer–it seems a simple intuitive leap from the five Mexican crop circles to a crisis water situation, symbolized by the five extinct Great Lakes of the Basin of Mexico–along with their important historical contribution to this crucial aquifer.

They also occur as part of a triangle of 33: Their point is 33miles N of Mexico City. Also 33 miles NE of the city lies Teotihuacan, where equinox is seriously celebrated each year. And Teotihuacan lies approx.33 miles E of Tlapanaloya.

Equinox sunset over the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan, Valley of Mexico, March 20, 2011

The crop circles appeared on Equinox weekend when hundreds of thousands of Mexico City residents head for the pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan–to pay their respects to the setting sun as it disappears behind the pyramid. Teotihuacan, Toltec ‘place where men become gods’ lies just 33miles east of Enrique’s field. Its central avenue’s due N-S alignment, on which the pyramid’s shadow casts a precise shadow at the moment of dusk, remains today a fascination for Mexicans who traditionally celebrate the onset of spring on Equinox. This year was no exception. Teotihuacan was mobbed.

It was also the weekend before the world-wide celebration of World Water Day, March 22nd.

Water is becoming scarce in many countries with over-population and rising mean annual temperatures. Water will soon be a commodity more precious than the metals mined in the Mexican hinterland.

The present explosion of shanty towns — barrios — which have sprung up in the last decade around the Mexican megacity have bolstered the population of MCMA (see above) to 21 milion people. While canals and drainage systems channel their human waste North into the Valley of Mexico agricultural region centered on (the crop circles of) Tlapanaloya, a clean drinkable water supply continues to be a problem in the city.

Industrial growth within an enclosed basin has not only produced pollutants in smog, but water quality issues for the Valley. Over-extraction of ground water has caused new flooding problems for the city as it sinks below the historic lake floor. Seasonal flooding was thought to have been historically ‘cured’ by the Spanish and successive Mexican governments by the very act of drainage. Now excessive drainage–and extraction of more water than is being replenished naturally causes subsidence and the need for further infrastructure–more pipes and tunnels.

For a high mesa totally enclosed within mountain ranges, the Valley is completely dependent on its groundwater supply. This has traditionally come from the underlying aquifers, the upwelling of seasonal springs supplemented by (previously unwanted) flooding and rains. These underground springs and wells are now almost exclusively the source of drinking water for the greater metropolitan area of Mexico City. With the rapid addition of shanty barrios around the city’s outer limits, more water is being pumped out of the city’s underground reservoirs than Nature is pouring in–[main aquifer currently pumps 880,000 USgallons/minute while the water table refreshes at around 440,000 gals/min]–that is, water is replenishing at around half the extraction rate.

Much of the city has now sunk below the ancient lakebed level and it continues to sink at around 15 inches per year. Water from the surrounding mountains which always flowed towards the city, now passes through shanty towns where there are no city ‘services’ (water supply or sewage removal), so the rivers become sewers–which contribute to an ongoing health risk in the capital. MCMA is struggling to prevent this contaminated water from entering the drinking supply.

The present dilemma is specific to Mexico. But in the West, clean and clear water is a blessing and a gift we may not have appreciated enough until now.

All this communicated by a chance appearance in two traditionally-planted-and-irrigated Chinampa fields in a rural district of central Mexico? you ask?

Perhaps not explicitly, but we have had a little experience of messages transmitted in the last decade of crop circles in other areas of the world where aquifers–and their underlying electromagnetic mysteries–have contributed enormously to the medium.

This Mexican Wave may indeed be sending us a High Five: a reminder to reconnect with our traditional lifestyles. But it is more likely to be a distress signal–a wakeup call.

We would be well-advised to listen and heed its message.

The Pyramid Parallax: Light, Electricity & Music of the Spheres

Ra worship: following the sun on the Giza plateau

Any technology beyond our own would seem like magic to us Arthur C. Clarke

Recent discoveries emerging from Egypt suggest the existence in prehistory of a world-wide pyramid/sacred temple system, mounted like antennae on key earth energy meridians which were used by ancient priest-scientists as an electrical system; as a network to produce healing sound frequencies; or even in times of emergency, to stabilize the tectonic plates of the planet by means of harmonics.

Modern engineers are familiar with the properties of quartz (oscillating frequencies in electronics; timepieces all rely on quartz crystal) and that the flow of water through chalk (limestone, calcium carbonate) can replicate the flow of electricity like current from a battery.

Magnetometer reading inside Rollright Stones, Oxon, courtesy Don Robins, the Dragon Project

It is well known that the chalk aquifer of the Wiltshire basin and neighboring Oxfordshire acts as one of the world’s best conductors of electricity, and that megalithic sites like Stonehenge, Avebury, Rollright and Silbury Hill show detectable rises in electromagnetic radiation within their precincts, when compared with much lower ‘background’ radiation outside. Quartz inclusions in stone circles allowed them to act as energy storage devices.

Silbury Hill itself is a giant chalk pyramid, the highest manmade mound in Europe. Under certain conditions it acts as a huge quartz crystal radiating energy outwards from its core.

Both limestone and granite have electrical qualities. Granite is slightly radioactive and has the ability to ionize or electrify the air. It releases radon gas which has a radioactive charge. In Wiltshire the underlying limestone — holding water or allowing it to flow — floods during summer thunderstorms and then dwindles as it drains into rivers. Silbury Hill, which has a measureable charge, and stone circles like Rollright, Stonehenge and Avebury all produce radiation — particularly at sunrise — when sunlight acts on the electrical energy stored in the stones and converts it to ultrasound.

Midsummer 2010 at Savernake Forest

And over the last thirty years or so — more concentrated in the last twenty — we have noticed this unique electromagnetic landscape being used for some other remarkable transmissions through space and time, using a technology which is far beyond anything we have today in common usage, and it’s been happening approximately fifty times each summer across southern England, continental Europe and sporadically in other locations where there is proximity to a sacred ancestral place of ritual/worship: the crop circle phenomenon.

White Sleet Hill crop circle 25th June 2010

Physicists, engineers and other scientists agree that telluric energy is a natural consequence of certain combinations of geology and water flow. It seems our ancestors knew this and were much more advanced than we give them credit for — that perhaps we modern souls with access to almost limitless technological resources may have a few lessons to learn in order to catch up.

For instance between 1977-83 Dr Don Robins and the Dragon Project via London’s Institute of Archaeology, with support from the Getty Institute, measured electrical and ultrasound emissions at Rollright, Oxon. Robins’s results, compiled in a hasty publication, Circles of Silence (1985 )* were remarkable. The sun had a clear effect on electromagnetic stimulation and resonance within the circle.

John Burke, a biological engineer from Boston University has measured before and after thunderstorms in Wiltshire, at Silbury, at Tikal in Mexico and on the Giza plateau above the Nile whose annual inundation is legendary. According to him, this aqueous fluctuation process produces a measurable change in the magnetic field.

‘The rising and falling of the Nile at Giza each year produces a constant flowing of water through layers of limestone which generates an electrical charge which generates an electric current which generates a magnetic field. So if you wanted to boost a charge to a monument, it would make sense to have running water nearby.’

At Tikal, the great stone terraces under the pyramid were constructed to allow water to flow down giant steps in two separate streams around the pyramid. Because water flowing in neighboring parallel streams sets up a current, it is likely the Maya used the resulting electrical charge for purposes of ritual celebration.

Current thinking in the archaeo-engineering field suggests that the megalith builders were aware of such electromagnetic currents; how the strength or weakness of solar radiation affected them; and that they built their sacred sites to amplify them.

Burke believes these structures were placed in areas where unusual geology naturally concentrates electromagnetic energy – that EM energy is amplified by geological surroundings. Sometimes — where these lines of energy cross — they generate electrical currents in the land.

When the megalithic builders designed these great structures & then built them, in such a way as to further concentrate those earth energies, it suggests they understood what they were doing and it looks as if they were attempting to control and use this energy for their own purposes. John Burke, Biological Engineer, BU

‘Certain types of geology will magnify that earth energy several-fold. In a
place where one area of ground which has a good ability to conduct electricity meets another area which has a lesser ablity to conduct these currents, it creates a charge — it’s called conductivity discontinuity. Also most dramatic change in magnetic strength per hour happens in the pre-dawn hours and wherever you get a change in magnetic field occurring, it generates electricity. It’s a basic/universal physics principle called induction. In the Egyptian desert temples were often built where these lines intersect. It opens up a whole new area of sacred science. Sacred sites were chosen carefully, and precisely where pyramids were constructed the suspicion arises that they understood much more about this stuff than we do. And they were using it for their engineering.’

Earth’s geomagnetic field is strongest when receiving sunlight during the day, weakest at night, when it’s dark. The Sun’s rays constantly fall on some part of the planet as it spins and this motion itself creates an electromagnetic ‘dynamo’.

Burke explains key times to experience the phenomenon are pre-dawn because the fluctuation of energy originating in daily changes in the Earth’s geomagnetic field are then at their most dramatic. At this time the weaker field lines now come roaring back to close to full strength very quickly over a short period — as the sun rises and brings light/heat to the earth.

Dr Carmen Boulter of University of Calgary says looking through our own cultural eyes blinkers us from seeing the sophistication of megalithic and pyramid function.

‘We don’t have the technology to build a pyramid now – we’re not even close. We don’t move blocks of 300-ton stone. We’re not the most evolved we’ve ever been. That is one of the blinders that stops us from imagining what they (Egyptian technology) were capable of’
Dr Carmen Boulter, Egyptian Archetypes professor, UCalgary

‘Because we’ve been taught the ancient Egyptians had only copper tools and simple pulley systems — that their technology was primitive — we’re not looking there (Giza and pyramid plateaux) for higher level technology.’

The existence of telluric/geomantic energy has long been supported by dowsers and others sensitive to its power. Sometimes known as ley lines, they are seen as bands of energy running between megalithic sites. Most famous in England is the St Michael Ley which runs from Land’s End, Cornwall through Glastonbury Tor, Avebury/Silbury and ends on the Norfolk/Suffolk county border on the east coast. It was traditionally used as a ‘pilgrim’s way’ for Christian devotion, superimposed on a far older sacred pilgrimage route.

John Michell, renowned telluric energy guru, mystic and author of 40 books including New View over Atlantis (Thames and Hudson 1983) died last year. In his busy life (Eton and Trinity, Cambridge, linguist and Russian translator, inspiration for Fortean Times), he was seen as the founding father of the Earth Mysteries movement in England. A recurring theme in Michell’s work, from City of Revelation to The Measure of Albion, is of universal truths codified in nature and continually being rediscovered from ancient times up to the present day.

‘At Glastonbury in the same alignment the pilgrims’ path still runs right along the edge of the tor, and at Avebury the line exactly coincides for over three miles with what is now the main road to Devizes from the southern entrance of the stone circle…’ John Michell

The other (south-north) line intersecting at Glastonbury starts at Carnac in Brittany, cuts through Derbyshire’s all-quartz stone circle Arbor Low in the White Peak District (carboniferous limestone), and continues to Aberdeenshire’s 20-foot high (granite) Memsie Cairn at Fraserburgh and on to Orkney’s famous 26-ft high Maes Howe mound.

Greek geographer Strabo, writing in the early years of the 1st century, tells of the 27 BC earthquake that shattered the northern quartz Colossus of Memnon at Thebes, collapsing it from the waist up. Following its rupture, this statue was able to ‘sing’ again as it had every morning at dawn since its original construction by Amenhotep III in 14th centuryBC. The dual colossi were originally created in 1350 BC by this powerful pharaoh to flank the eastern entrance to his devotional temple at ancient Thebes on the west bank of the Nile opposite modern Luxor. In historic times, Roman engineers, thinking to rescue the images from flooding which threatened the ground on which the temple stood, transported the two 60ft statues to their present site and in so doing silenced the singing effigies of the pharaoh. They also tried to patch the broken torso but their engineering attempts failed. The statues now stand out of alignment. They no longer face directly into the sun at dawn, which was Amenhotep’s original intention. At his Theban temple — open to his people to serve their daily devotion to him as a living god, his priestly calculations had the temple portals with these flanking Colossi face due East to capture the moment of sunrise. The Rising of sun-god Ra triggered a devotional sound in the stone, its ringing amplified through the temple which would have caused the whole foundation to vibrate. This would be seen as the Pharaoh’s own superhuman magic, his god-like ability (as Ba-Ra, son of the Sun) to harness the power of the sun.

Colossi of Memnon at Dawn by David Roberts, 1840

Little remains of Amenhotep III‘s temple in Thebes and the quartz torso replaced by substandard sandstone during Roman engineering rescue attempts was never found. Strabo heard it sing when he visited in 20BC. Both Greeks and Romans were drawn to its supposed oracular ability to voice and believed that good fortune attended anyone hearing the tone. The Greeks fondly dubbed them Colossi of Memnon, after their hero of the Trojan war and referred to the entire Theban Necropolis as the Memnonium. It was 14thC BC Egyptian technology, however, that produced the whistling moaning sound from hewn quartzite sandstone quarried at Cairo and transported 420 miles upstream to Thebes to face the sun at the temple entrance, due east, knowing of the sun’s ability to transmute quartzite crystals so that they emit sound as the sun’s disk rose at dawn. Not only did Amenhotep create a portal for the first light of day to penetrate his temple, but in its rising the Sun triggered a sacred hum of healing sound.

The legend of the voicing Memnon’s oracular powers spread through Aegean, Mediterranean and Roman culture — the length of the then known world — bringing a stream of visitors, followers, Roman Emperors, generals and Greek historians, who came to marvel and hear the statue ‘speak’. But mysterious vocalizations of the broken colossus ceased in AD199, when Roman Emperor Septimius Severus, in an attempt to curry favour with the Oracle, reassembled the two shattered halves, using stone from a different limestone quarry to replace the broken torso. It never spoke again.

Giza pyramids built as a scale model of Orion's belt

It is now scientific probability that similar sonic and electrical qualities were harnessed by earlier pharaohs in deliberate siting of Old Kingdom pyramids: the Giza plateau in particular is singled out for resonance and its dramatic ability to capture solar fluctuations. It is no coincidence that those three quartzite pyramids set on their limestone plateau are built on an exact scale representation of three stars in Orion’s belt, Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka. Other pyramid complexes in the riverine Band of Peace mirror star positions: on a celestial ‘landscape’ with Orion’s belt at Giza, Heliopolis (in the south) reflects the constellation Leo (sphinx god) and Abusir in the north represents the Pleiades star cluster over Orion’s head. Scale was calculated with remarkable accuracy. This earthly triangle of energy mirroring three celestial clusters in a heavenly triangle helped keep track of Sothis/Sirius, the Dog Star in the middle and brightest star in the night sky, whose reappearance after 70 days of invisibility below the Egyptian horizon was cause for celebration — coinciding with the annual inundation of the Nile, return of fertility, plentiful water, abundant food supply.

Today's technology outshone by the Ancients'

Indigenous wisdom-keeper and Egyptian Elder Abd’El Hakim Awyan, who died in 2009, firmly believed in his ancestors’ powers to manipulate electromagnetic currents and conduit solar forces to produce technology greater than we have today.

At Saqqara, in Old Kingdom capital Memphis, the House of the Spirit at the base of the Step Pyramid of Djozer (2667-2648 BC) was a place of healing sound. Chambers in this temple were harmonically tuned to different frequencies, creating huge fields of harmonic resonance, just as later Gothic cathedrals filled sacred geometry with sound.

The Giza plateau is solid chalk and all three pyramids, ’15 million tons of quarried stone’ (built by 4th Dynasty rulers Khufu, 2589-2566BC, his son Khefren, 2520-2494, and his grandson Menkhare, 2490-2472) were constructed of limestone, two with a granite casing and pink Aswan granite interior, while the largest/earliest, the Great Pyramid, most significantly consisted of dolomite: carboniferous limestone with a high magnesium content. It also has interior galleries lined with granite. Its final outer layer was coated with limestone dust so smooth that it glistened and gleamed white in the sun. All were sited to witness sunrise at both summer and winter solstices.

John Burke’s electrical analogy expands. He suggests that perhaps the Great Pyramid –maybe all three pyramids on the plateau — were deliberately built for a light show, a demonstration of the work of the gods in action.

The Great Pyramid was constructed of magnesium-rich dolomite with a core of granite-lined galleries or tubes which ran from underground aquifers up through the pyramid to its highest gallery at the peak. Its final outer coating was a thick membrane of calcium carbonate, essentially an insulator. ‘This combination gives you a highly electrical conductive core wrapped in a perfect insulator. I asked myself why granite should be used for the tunnels.

‘Granite is slightly radioactive and it will ionize or electrify the air. So was their purpose to keep the tunnels electrically charged?

‘If you ran a copper wire from limestone layers in the aquifer up through the tunnels in the pyramid to the opening at the top, it would become electrically charged. You could light a lightbulb by it today. So did they use the same mechanism to make the pyramid into a light source?’ he wonders.

‘You get a concentration of negative charge below ground, a concentration of positive charge above it and if they become strong enough you begin to get what’s called a flush discharge – A GLOW’

That’s John Burke’s theory. So, did the Great Pyramid glow in the dark?

He suggests their technology went further. In times of drought or when less water moved through the aquifer, the granite-lined chambers would have acted as conduits to keep the energy flowing — ‘like a car battery at a stop light’, he says.

Sunspot 1117 causing havoc on earth-facing side of the Sun

We clearly have more to learn on the subject. But as it happens we may have help. Our own star is beginning a new cycle of solar activity.

Under ‘normal’ solar conditions, the earth is surrounded by a fluctuating ‘coil’ of energy –an electromagnetic blanket holding all planetary systems stable– with geomagnetism humming like a top. But activity on the sun’s surface also fluctuates, sunspots come and ago and solar flares can interrupt this peaceful flow. The sun has just completed an 11-year ‘minimum’ cycle of fewer-than-normal sunspots. We have entered the runup to solar maximum expected in 2012, during which increased, even dramatic solar activity can occur.

An analogy that’s easy to comprehend is our Arctic and Antarctic geomagnetic activity that manifests as Aurora Borealis or Australis. These magnificent spectacles make themselves visible whenever solar flares –coronal mass ejections (CMEs) borne on the solar wind– penetrate the Earth’s geomagnetic shield. The journey from Sun to Earth usually takes 3-4 days and when they reach the poles their interaction with the geomagnetic field creates glorious nighttime light shows.

Aurorae are only some of the side effects of solar activity. Some CMEs are strong enough to disrupt communications systems and close down electronic and electromagnetic operations, traffic lights, power generators and the like. We may have to get used to them, as their frequency is increasing.

Crop Circles

Ephemeral Pewsey Vortex (cut within hours of its appearance):interdimensional tunnel to perception

In crop circle parlance it’s no longer unusual to hear of anomalous ultrasound, hovering light orbs or to find crop stems sculpted by a massive heat source. Visitors use them as spontaneous temples, lighting candles and whispering prayers. We are beginning to see technology greater than our own at work, manifesting in beautiful form in the corn, to capture our imagination, captivate our senses, alter our perception. And crop formations are, without exception, manifesting around nodes of earth’s magnetic energy, just as ancient sacred sites did.

Sound and light were used by the Ancients to generate awe, devotion and bring healing; to transport followers into a state of acceptance, belief and oneness with a higher power. Are we too entrenched in our fossil-fuel mentality, our agenda of skepticism, to see doors opening to reveal another world? a world where higher dimensional reality beckons and offers us a helping hand?
