The Maya say within the present Great Cycle of 5200 years, a calculation of time based on the Precession of the Equinoxes (apparent backward movement of the Sun through the zodiac, as viewed in spring –each Grand cyclical revolution totaling 25,920 years), the Long Count began on August 13, 3114 BC; and that it will end or begin again on December 21, 2012. Focus for its beginning date is the calculation that August 13 (Gregorian calendar) falls 52 days after summer solstice, always the Mayas’ date of Creation. There are exactly 7200 Tzolk’in rounds in this creation cycle. Maya day-keepers believe that the purpose of the Tzolk’in is to serve as a hub or temporal microcosm for all calendar cycles, and as such, the true Great Cycle must begin and end on a day that is 13 Ahau in the Tzolk’in count. In traditional reckoning, the Tzolk’in 260-day calendar and the last date for the much-discussed Long Count Calendar, coincide on 21 December 2012, which is not 13 Ahau but 4 Ahau. Hence the current dilemma: does humanity reach enlightenment in two days’ time on October 28th (Calleman, Clow, Argüelles and others)? or is it ultimately a signal, a last boost of light which will carry us into supra-dimensional existence, heralded by winter solstice 2012?

Traditionalists say there are still another 420 days to go, which gives us enough time to assimilate this increasingly powerful influx of light — fiber-optic informational strands of galactic proportions — preparing us to cross that bridge into cosmic consciousness in just over a year’s time.

This is the time heralded widely as the Shift of the Ages.

Several groups of descendants of Maya genealogy — along with other well-known and well-schooled Western proponents of the 2012 version, like John Major Jenkins and Daniel Pinchbeck — suggest we need to prepare ourselves: that humanity is moving fast towards this reconciliation of opposites, end of duality, joining of time with eternity; the finite with the Infinite; but we have several psychic areas that need refining first. The indigenous tribes are becoming more vocal, no longer holding their knowledge for their own people alone. The Great Cycle climax is like a familiar coming home; for them signs in the heavens (Norway spiral, increased eclipses) are a wonderful occasion for celebration, not fear.

Ms Clow and Dr Calleman assume that there is total accuracy in the calculation the Maya used to catalogue their concept of time. Ms Clow also believes that time is accelerating at an enormous rate (Hand Clow: The Mayan Code — Time Acceleration and Awakening the World Mind, 2007) and that there are other visible factors beginning to manifest in our 3D plane of existence which are assisting us in elevating our consciousness into a more cosmic view of our reality.

According to Maya Shaman-Priest, Don Alejandro Cirilo Oxlaj Perez:
“Do not be afraid… The prophecy says now is the time of the awakening. This is your job now, to awaken. The Vale of the Nine Hells is past and it is time to prepare for the Age of the Thirteen Heavens.

Jenkins is, by his own intellectual reckoning, more traditional in his approach: believing that the completion of the Great Cycle is more likely to happen in December of 2012 because of that date’s synchronistic Galactic alignment. October 2011 has no such cosmic ‘attractor’ calling us from deep space. But on winter solstice 2012, the Earth, the Sun, the solar system of planets and its circling comets will align with that great dark chasm in the middle of the Milky Way which the Maya call the cosmic birth canal, their Sacred World Tree — Galactic Center. Some astrophysicists speculate that this unfathomable abyss is a ‘black hole’ which attracts us and will guide us through the shift.

Others that it constantly spews out DNA-enhancing light which is already changing our human genome. Whether a black hole sucking in or a light source throwing out, both ideas are theoretical. All we know is that for the last 30 years we have been dancing a skirting flirting rumba, annually bringing us closer to that point of alignment with our parent star cluster.

The Maya, bless them, were besotted with our End Times and our moment of galactic reunion fascinated them as far back as AD500. That alone is a remarkable effort; a truly authentic example of the ability to delay gratification, itself the first sign of enlightenment. Their calculations all center round the 2012 endpoint: when another Great Cycle begins.

Returning ancestors which indigenous elders speak of are not just of the human variety. An old Native American legend describes the existence of thirteen life-size human skulls made of rock crystal, that are believed to speak or sing. According to legend, these crystal skulls contain answers to some of the great mysteries of life and the Universe. The legend says that in time of greatest need, at a time of enormous crisis for humanity, all thirteen of these crystal skulls will be rediscovered and brought together again to reveal their knowledge. Their information is vital to the very survival of the human race.

So far six crystal skulls have been found — including the enigmatic Mitchell-Hedges skull, right, discovered in Lubaantun, British Honduras in a Mayan temple in 1924, and the British Museum’s ‘Max’, above. The Lubaantun skull’s size with detachable lower jaw are like no other and examination by Hewlett-Packard in California’s Silicon Valley could detect no tool marks. Carbon dating is impossible as quartz crystal contains no carbon. They concluded laser technology of the highest order was the only means capable of creating it and that its pristine crystalline surface was capable of imprinting ‘gigabytes and gigabytes’ of information beyond present computer technological capability. Its find-location, deep in an AD6thC Mayan temple makes it a controversial object of great beauty which has spawned several novels and an Indiana Jones movie.

The legend emphasizes a pivotal time in human history, when all 13 crystal skulls will be reunited to awaken mankind to a new era — transforming consciousness from the old paradigm into a new world.

Now would be a good time for the ancestors to return: the human race — numbering one billion in 1804 took 125 yrs to reach two billion in 1929; 3 billion 1959; 4 billion 1974; 5 billion 1987; 6 billion 1998– is about to hit 7 billion on October 31st 2011. So the human population, at the end of this month, has doubled since 1969. We need our ancestral knowledge now — a more gentle form of wisdom, a simpler way of life — if only to save us from cataclysm.

Much of that human population — at least the younger strand of it — is out in the streets right now. They have suggested that we ALL use the 13Ahau date of October 28th as a gesture to turn off the lights (candles instead, unless you’re on solar!) radio, tv, electrical appliances and toys (computers, too) for one day — certainly not to BUY anything in the shops that day — but to go into nature, read a book, meditate, play, dance, sing, create. Suddenly the message is getting out that the people –the little person– has something to say which is meaningful.

To paraphrase Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak, they are setting the tone for the world.

Whether as a result of passing through the Photon Belt, receiving DNA enhancing code through crop circles or light from the cosmos, the Human Mind’s ‘Enchanted Loom’ is indeed waking up. We are experiencing more than ever before in recorded history a revitalizing force which permeates us and our immediate surroundings.

This new consciousness is starting to sweep the world. We humans are becoming psychically linked, our minds fusing into unity-consciousness, a worldwide spiritual culture. No longer are collective thought patterns limited to the unconscious. Dream reality is slipping into our waking dimension, our souls vibrating faster; what we think is made manifest before us.

The once external God is becoming an internal sacred voice.

Last of the historical Inca, the Q’ero, like Akhenaten’s cult of the sun, believe the sun’s orb brings great change. This pachacuti prophesy has lain within their collective memory/culture for the last 500 years. It is optimistic: they believe a new type of ‘light’ human will appear to help mankind through dark times.

Pacha Cuti, literally ‘world-turner’, can be interpreted in two different ways:
[1] that ancient Inca ruler, Pacha Cuti, an enlightened being, ‘stepped outside of time’ and was famous for greatly expanding the Inca empire; that he will return in 2012 to ‘turn the world around’ from a chaos to peace.
[2] that Pacha Cuti represents great change coming in the form of the ‘luminous ones’ — humans with new (psychic, telepathic) abilities and a luminous nature. These are the ancient ones returning who will set the world right-side-up again. The Inca believe that this new type of human has already manifested and is living now in our time.

Inca Shamans also speak of a tear in the fabric of time itself; of doorways between worlds which are beginning to open up again. They believe we have the opportunity now to explore our real human capabilities and become Pacha Cuti ourselves.

Peruvian Shamans say ancestral wisdom means:
“Follow your own footsteps. Learn from the rivers, the trees and the rocks. Honor the Christ, the Buddha, your brothers and sisters. Honor the Earth Mother and the Great Spirit. Honor yourself and all of creation.”

There are 420 more days to go after October 28th to reach the traditional Long Count finale. This month’s 13 Ahau may be the catalyst to project us into alignment, not just our planet, our solar system, our Sun, with the equator of the Galactic plane, but to align our consciousness with an altogether new world: the world of gnosis in its original Greek meaning: intuitive, esoteric knowing. With our hearts out front, and our minds tuning in to feelings, sensations, listening to premonitions, internal guidance, the inner voice, we shall become a new race: the ones fit for the stars: the place from which ancestral gods and angels and guardian spirits/star beings always kept a watchful eye, ready to help us stand, should we fall. Our youth have taken the ‘Occupy Yourself’ initiative. In becoming a world voice for fairness, balance and caring, we are showing our hand; so those same light spirits –our own ancestors — no longer need to hold back.

The Light is coming to our aid now in massive doses. It is up to us to accept the transformation and to allow it to raise our consciousness to transcendental level.

Not only Light, but the spirit that motivated our ancestors, is returning: that enchanted loom of our Group Mind is waking up; the shuttles are clicking. We are realizing we can become greater than we are, just by willing that idea into existence.

Reaching for Sunbeams: Unity Consciousness in the Ninth Wave

José Argüelles–proponent of the living spirit of the Maya as seen through their Calendar of Consciousness — died on March 23, 2011 (2 Imix). Among his contemporaries and in his community, his ‘transitioning’ to a higher dimension–just as the culmination of the Calendar of the Maya is glimpsed on the horizon–was considered a surprise, a tragedy. He was one of the few indigenous Americans who could make sense of the multiple calendar calculations of his ancestral Maya, putting their Tzolkin (260-days), their Long Count and their fiscal Haab into words that many could understand. He was honored in March 2002 as Valum Votan, ‘Closer of the Cycle’ by Mayan Nine Indigenous Elders atop the Pyramid of the Sun at Teotihuacan. There they awarded him the elders’ ceremonial staff for his efforts in helping to awake humanity to the meaning of 2012. He was co-founder of Earth Day (former Arbor Day) and instigated the first Whole Earth Festival in California in 1970.

Argüelles’ first book, The Mayan Factor: Path beyond Technology (1987) was a breath of fresh air to believers in many countries who in the year of its publication congregated at his instigation to celebrate the Harmonic Convergence of August 16-17. It was the first gathering in modern times on Earth for a large convocation of all nations joining together to pray, meditate, give thanks and commune with the ancestral spirits.

Harmonic Convergence happened at a point in sidereal time when a majority of planets of the solar system converged in the sky and in calculable time 25 years before the Mayan Great Cycle Calendar end-date of winter solstice 2012. Sixteen years after that convergence, another galactic (planetary alignment) event occurred in 2003, known as the Harmonic Concordance, when an estimated one million people gathered worldwide to celebrate another level to which a growing consciousness movement on the planet had aspired–and reached–Unity Consciousness. In November 2010 a third convocation occurred between East and West where an estimated 10 million took part.

According to several western Mayan scholars, the 1987 date marked global synchronization for those kin souls on the planet prepared to shift into global awareness suited to the final years of their revered ancestors’ calendrical calculation: a human society whose consciousness was making ready to leap into a higher dimension, where we will manifest ‘one thousand years of peace and harmony’ on our planet.

Along with her mentor and colleague, Dr Carl J Calleman, Barbara Clow is a Mayan scholar and also an accomplished astrologer. According to their calculations, the Earth, along with all who are ready for Mankind’s quantum leap in consciousness, moved into the last Mayan phase–the Ninth Wave or Universal Underworld–on March 9th this year, one month ago. The event was signaled by a massive series of earthquakes on the Pacific rim. This shocking occurrence has had the desired effect of bringing much of the world together in compassion, although it still seems almost inconceivable that we as a whole-earth society have only one year from now (the Ninth Wave) in which to ‘get our house in order’ for the leap up the dimensional ladder into our evolved higher (light-being) selves.

But Unity Consciousness has a finely-tuned harmonic scale which our DNA and our evolving, light-enhanced cells may find hard to resist.

And we have help.

Judging by increasing complexity we have witnessed in crop circle designs of recent years, the 2011 season (England–imminent) *(see first report in Wales here)* will more than outdo its predecessors. From around 1998 on, 2D graphics seen in Wiltshire and Oxfordshire fields (as viewed from above) have progressively demonstrated the quantum reality of showing higher dimensional figures (3D, 4D, 5D) as if in shadow, or in their two-dimensional, (simpler), form.

Astrophysicist Carl Sagan once explained that the only way we–in 3D– can visualize a 4D object is to imagine an extra dimension at right angles to the ones we know as familiar. Or see its shadow counterpart.

Crop designs in 2010 were particularly adept at showing higher dimensional objects in their lower dimensional (geometric) shadow guise.

It is as if we are being given consciousness clues to help us maintain our level of intent to accomplish the next leap in faith.

Crop circle art is no longer seen as marginal, an outdated hoax, a manmade joke. The concept of humankind’s own higher self–its own unified field of psychic understanding projecting a message back down to the 2D receptors of its own learning (lower self) population–begins to make a degree of sense.

Like imagining a dimension at right angles to the ones we already know, we just have to get our heads around the concept.

Crop Circles–the Cosmic Post-it Note

Crop circles are like post-it notes left by our already-elevated consciousness in a time-warp created by our future self and stuck on a prominent noticeboard before it left the building: for us to come along and read in this dimension, so we know we’re still headed in the right direction. Or, if you prefer it, picture a shadow of what is to come. However you do it, it will take both hemispheres of the brain to work in unison to get the projection right! And there are many poised worldwide to integrate the lessons of the 2011 season into their awareness.

The Astrological Aspect
Many of us have a fascination for planetary clustering in current astrological charts. In progressed charts, astrologers can detect heavenly indicators which are actively guiding the human race in present time –making it a make-or-break choice for many. Last spring and summer were dominated by a Grand Cross configuration: conflicts all around. This spring marks global change.

Following this month’s potent new moon-Sun-Jupiter conjunction on April 4th-5th and a Mars-Uranus conjuction (rash, impulsive unexpected change) in the same sign (Aries), Ms Clow says ‘people will feel like racehorses at the gate, ready to charge when the gun cracks… If you race for your true heart’s desire, chances are the people around you will be focusing on theirs as well; there’s no need to smash into each other. Our reality is now a fully-activated holographic fractal field, so when you choose your highest good and place it in your heart, what you’re doing doesn’t (negatively) affect others. But it would be very smart to stay out of any conflicts that are going on around you–especially the ones you don’t really care about.’

One further prediction in archival material maintained by the Maya is that nine deities or forces will appear at the End of Time. The Codices left by the Maya envisage the return of Kukulcan–Aztec Quetzalcoatl. He is mesoamerican serpent god-of-the-sun and consort of Venus.

In the West, the appearance of nine energies in the End Times has been interpreted widely as equivalent to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in Western biblical tradition: war, pestilence, famine and death. Dr Calleman, however, thinks otherwise.

“I believe that behind these cosmic forces, whose times of activation are described by the Mayan calendar, is an intelligent plan for the history of humanity that comes from a higher source and has a benevolent intention.”

He sees them as synchronicities or numeric coincidences: 9:9:9; 10:10:10; 11:11:11 and, of course, 12:12:12 are only four such numerological events.

Others have seen the ‘appearances’ of light orbs associated with the creation of crop circles, the Norway spiral and the revelations now being released by US government sources on UFOs as such ‘appearances’.

These nine cosmic forces are influencing and governing our collective consciousness and so we have every reason to pay attention to what is going on in this cosmic time plan–

He is convinced the numerology of nines is particularly relevant to this, the Ninth–and final–Wave, leading us to planetary and societal ‘completion’. He encourages ‘community building, networking and spiritual synchronization’. He envisages a rapid expansion of consciousness in our Final Days, where much is accomplished in a very short time–the Tzolkin 260 day time-count. He says the Ninth Wave is designed (by intelligent Source) in the Cosmos to accomplish a new earth-wide and earth-nurturing consciousness: unity consciousness with all life. That we need to prepare for this–individually and together.

And that in approaching the birth of a new world with conscious intention, we will join with others of like mind and intent. Naturally, says Calleman, it is a matter of choice.

Let us hope that not only is he a true visionary, but that he is right.

Equinox is only days away. The leaves are turning. A storm is brewing. The Earth prepares as the hinges on the door of another season swing shut. This doorway to autumn in the northern hemisphere is heralded by a whole slew of heavenly bodies lined up and waiting to shepherd us through. After all, as one door swings shut, another opens and we have little more than 800 days to go before the Calendar of the Ancients — embodied in the Tzolkin Long Count of the Maya — says we reach Transfiguration.

Is it possible, we ask, to create our own Apotheosis? are we capable of reaching out from the depths of the mire in which we have entrenched ourselves on Earth to hold hands with the Divine? become gods ourselves? All the prophesies say yes. We are told to watch the heavens for signs. So, watchers we have become.

There have been warnings: a couple of planetary tight corners — 2010’s T-squares and Full Moon in June’s Grand Cross — squeezing our world and our communal psyche into a place of no retreat.

But if you thought you were just going to puddle along over the next couple of months, couple of years, and it would all fall into place? That ‘somebody else’ had it in hand and we’d muddle through somehow? Then, there’s more thinking to be done.

Some people still question why we should even listen at all to the voice of the Ancestors: those revered traditions handed down over millennia on all continents through civilization’s records and archives and oral tradition. What did they know of 21st century life? How could they possibly help us rise from a world of racial, religious, financial and nutritional inequality — not to mention bombardment by media-manipulated fears — and become one tight-knit community, one homogeneous being? These are high concepts; tough hurdles for humankind to leap.

It’s probably for that reason that the ancestors have been hanging around lately, giving us a little more immediate help and encouragement, sending us little signs… like those in summer fields of shining corn.

All ancient wisdom declares we are not alone; that we have only to ask for help and it will come. There must have been a lot of people asking lately, because the messages have been coming in thicker and faster! 2010 season’s crop circles have proved to be our most challenging yet.

They brought us dimensions beyond those we’re accustomed to thinking in, sacred geometry and energy vortices and power places known to all previous civilizations, but somehow ‘lost’ to our own; magical light orbs and mysterious high-pitched sound accompanying the formation of a circle or even group meditative ‘requests’ for such a crop appearance. 2010 has consolidated and convinced a far-reaching cult of believers who now no longer care to look back at the world we left only yesterday.

2010 has also created — outside the crop circle sphere — a coming-together of Earth-loving communities all round the world. No longer do the meek hover unheard while business corporations haggle over responsibility for destruction. The Gulf of Mexico event took care of that. Depleting earth’s precious species and resources is neither politically correct nor tolerated. Even the Rich List themselves have taken to the waters to redress the balance.

There is indeed an awakening of the world mind — a tangible creative move to choose life over death, kindness over greed, healing over repression, and compassion over power. We just have to look carefully to find it: not on smog-ridden highways or in high-rise metal offices perhaps, but in the miraculous and ever-evolving daily life of small villages, volunteer children’s creches and around organic farmers’ market stalls.

They believe not only should the barbaric slaughter of such mammalians stop, but that this highly intelligent species might have something in their great communicative awareness to teach us humans.

A flawed piece of legislation initiated during the Bush administration allowing Northern Rockies (endangered) wolves to be slaughtered wholesale, has recently been revoked, restoring the American Gray Wolf to protected status. Mother Earth is starting to smile again.

Longcount dates in 2011 and 2012

Like Kiesha Crowther, Barbara Hand Clow is a shaman, gifted teacher of the intuitive arts, an Elder of the Maya, Cherokee Record Keeper, and she shares wisdom from a wide range of researchers and Medicine People. Like one of her mentors, Swedish biologist Carl Johan Calleman, she sees the Great Underworlds of the Tzolkin calculus as a means to understanding human evolution — towards our ultimate reconnection through our intuitive senses with the Divine. Evolution rapidly nears its zenith: ascension/transcendance at our final gate. As each Age is ten times briefer than its predecessor, time appears to speed up, learning accelerates, human beings evolve at an unprecedented rate. Both she and Calleman place enormous importance on the August 1987 Harmonic Convergence whose spectacular planetary alignments presaged the final 25 years of the Tzolkin Count. We entered the Sixth Night of the Galactic Wave Cycle on 09/09/09 and will emerge from it on November 2nd this year.

Extreme pressure for deep change came to the surface during the cardinal T-squares of the major planets in June and August and a final flurry of this configuration commands human attention now, as we near Autumn Equinox. While the pressure may be easing, it’s not over yet. We are about to experience the final throes of the technological age of the Galactic Underworld when Day Seven opens November 2nd 2010 —Yellow Galactic Seed — and it becomes apparent that nothing will stop the rollercoaster of change now spinning ordinary life out of control. Fall Equinox requires our trust and belief that there is cosmic Design behind such change.

Clow borrows Calleman’s elaborate reconstruction of the intricate Mayan calendar to discern an interweaving of patterns, frequencies, tones that build upon themselves like a fractal symphonic chord which reaches crescendo in 2011/2012.

She suggests that time acceleration is occurring and that we have already begun to feel a quickening of the energy around us.

‘You’ve been recreating yourself since 1999 when the Galactic Underworld opened,’ she says, ‘and now you are ready to become a Cosmic Being on Earth.’

Both believe we shall reach this ultimate goal in consciousness a year early — on October 28th 2011, to be exact. That’s only 405 days from now.

Heavenly bodies are appearing in our skies which seem to confirm the ancient prediction of nine ‘appearances’ or energies which accompany the End Times. The first of these — the dramatic return of sacred serpent god Quetzalcoatl — happened at the final moment of ceremony as 40,000 people welcomed spring equinox 1989 at Chichen Itza. At the exact instant of sunset and full moonrise, asteroid 1989-A zoomed over the crowd and plunged into the ocean off the Yucatan peninsula. Astronomers were unprepared for the happening, but the Maya were not!

Now we begin to see further signs — the light spiral over Tromsø, Norway last December during the Obama Nobel Peace Prize presentation may be another. The heavens have their own way of sigaling changes in energy, influence and human events.

Immanuel Velikovsky, in his posthumously published (1982) book Mankind in Amnesia, wrote that mankind has suppressed memories of cosmic catastrophes, Noah’s flood, possibly even the extinction of the dinosaurs: essentially we were wounded in our separation from Source. And until we clear our ‘injury’ and heal ourselves, we are doomed to play out with wars, genocides and mass murders much like a mental patient plays out suppressed rape or abuse trauma with anti-social behavior.

Calleman believes western concept of time cannot accommodate the phenomenon of evolution or creation. That our linear (Gregorian) view sees time as an endless repetition of cycles with no beginning and no end. With such limited perspective, humanity seems not to be going anywhere, life has little purpose. He sees the consequences of such an attitude in the environmental rape of our planet. The Tzolkin itself is a pattern for the unfolding of creative energy rather than a numerical calendar.

‘I believe through study and use of the Tun-based calendrical system [of the Maya] we may develop an awareness of consciousness, a meta-consciousness, which will allow us to understand factors underlying the evolution of our spiritual process and evolution of the universe.’

Kiesha Crowther believes Enlightenment comes as we express love in word and deed; rejoin in oneness with Nature. And to evolve to the next level, our species must reach enlightenment. Calleman, Clow and Crowther all agree it is time to end our separation from Nature.

Chart for Equinox

This is the chart for NOW. In five days, at midnight on equinox (September 22/23, 2010), the Sun will stand at the top of the chart at cusp Virgo/0ºLibra with the full Moon moving to stand directly opposite at 0ºAries: Grand Cross elements resurface

The fall equinox chart is potent with symbolism. First, and most powerful, the 0º00 Libra Sun squares Pluto in Capricorn at 0º41. A Sun-Pluto square packs punch. The full moon phase at this dying of the year — our climaxes and harvest — with Pluto in the mix — gives potential for destruction, disintegration, elimination on the world stage. While Pluto’s destructive power is for good — symbolic death leading to rebirth — this destruction opens the door to regeneration and transformation. Power play between patriarchal rule (Pluto in Capricorn) and the people, and between masculine and feminine archetypes everywhere will be noticeable.

This is powerful stuff. We reap what we sow, so anything sown that smells of corruption, power/over, power/under dynamics can and will come to light in this cycle!

A significant aspect in the chart is Mercury conjunct Saturn in Virgo — only 33 minutes apart. Actual conjunction occurs earlier that day at 2:08am, so at equinoctial point it is very potent. Mercury symbolizes the conscious mind and has just moved from retrograde (where action is internal, introverted and intuitive) to direct. In Virgo, one of the two signs Mercury rules, his review process covers the territory of self-mastery, service, and mind/body connection.

And because Saturn and Mercury are conjunct, Father Time, Lord of Karma and the celestial messenger act to bring into our consciousness all the tools we need to solidify, restructure, ground us and birth this new awareness into reality. Pluto also turned direct on September 13th. Its influence now has great strength.

This Full Moon in Aries with Sun in last degree of Virgo signals the beginning of the final phase of our emergence into Nature. With Neptune holding us in divine embrace in Aquarius, this lunation is the seed that plants us as vessels of cosmic light, in a spiritual alchemy.

This alchemical seed bears wild fruit during the Aries Full Moon on September 23, a few hours after the moment of Equinox, when the Full Moon stands conjunct Jupiter and Uranus in Aries opposite the Sun and Saturn in Libra, while T-squaring Pluto in Capricorn! The Full Moon actually detonates the T-square. These aspects will germinate our species into the Cosmos. Pluto is powerful and the god of the Underworld will, in the words of astrologer Robert Wilkinson show us how to use the polarities of Will and Love, Mind and Heart, in an alternating manner to achieve a form of mastery.

Shaman Kiesha Crowther in her own beautiful Nature-connected way — while accepting that the end of the Mayan Calendar looms — agrees that it’s more about each person moving back into proportional relationship with Nature and our role as EarthKeepers.

‘Specifically, how do the people of Mother Earth join together their hearts and minds to create a change?

‘The answer lies with each and every one of us doing our part, with our own hearts, moving forward as individuals in our own abilities — to grow our hearts larger and love and live with kindness and consciousness.

Little Grandmother‘s message is one of love and enlightenment and a belief that we can all do this together. There are no structures to set up, no teachers guiding others, no hierarchy. The Tribe of Many Colors is not an organization. Rather it embodies a group of people with a single goal: to live from the heart and to love our Mother Earth and each other. In the summer of 2010 Kiesha Crowther visited Scandinavia where she embedded a special crystal to anchor earth’s electromagnetic grid. She and the Elders have been re-energizing the Earth Grid by placing crystals at strategic Power points where Earth’s electromagnetic energy focuses.

‘The Tribe of Many Colors has been prophesied to come for a very long time and now the time is upon us. All we need to do is to go to Nature, to the Source, and fill ourselves up with that tremendous love that is out there for us, just as we are. It does not matter if you are ever recognized by the world for what you are doing—you are a divine spark, the Great I AM, here to kindle your light, recognize the brilliance that you are, just as you are.’

Inkeeping with this sentiment, but within a complex array of symbolism that unites light, sound, the Golden Mean spiral and quantum physics, Clow explains in her Alchemy of the Nine Dimensions (2004) the phenomenon we call crop circles is advancing in complexity as we as a species advance. She calls the energy — ‘great tubes of light’ — which creates formations ‘benign’, but one which keeps us on our toes, keeps us learning, stays always just one step ahead of us.

‘Since the same geometry can easily be seen in shells and in skeletons, no one should be surprised. The visibility of these tubes of light and the numerous spirals in crop circles are analogs to the visibility of spirals in nature. Materialization occurs by the spin or motion of spirals, and the crop circles are material things. Once the great force is drawn down to Earth, tubes of light imprint a crop circle where it enters a plane — the field crop — where 2D interfaces with the curvature of the surface. The actual circle is made in seconds. Scientists are penetrating the deeper mysteries of the Golden Mean these days, as the Circlemakers are constructing ever-more complex expressions of it.’

One might ask, since so much emphasis is placed on End Times fixed by the Tzolkin calendar, why are crop circles not appearing in Mexico?

Clow answers that, too. Shockingly, she says ‘the central vortex of patriarchal ignorance is located in England, while the Mexican people already know what is coming.’

On a geomantic level, Wessex — that great chalk aquifer of Salisbury Plain — is one of the largest on earth. It has a very low magnetic field and is therefore the world’s best conductor of electricity. In an electromagnetic dimension, it was ideal for constructing stone circles (whose great neolithic rock-crystals still stand embedded in the earth) and it is therefore perfect for weaving electrical current in waves of grain.

We are being fine-tuned for our return to Source. And the Ancestors are shouting encouragement from the grandstand. Perhaps it’s time to speed up the activation process ourselves: to tune ourselves in to the Great Spirit with conscious intent. Imagine yourself sitting in a large ornate chair with armrests. Visualise yourself firmly within this ‘throne’. Feel comfortable. Any anxiety you may experience is simply the heart’s preparation for what’s to come.

Imagine that on the armrests where your hands are placed are metallic finger plates for each digit of each hand. Lay your fingertips gently on the activation plates.

Resume position. You feel these plates are magnetised to energy points within your fingers and at the back of your neck. You can feel the tingling. As you watch, you see we are adding plates down through the back of the chair, aligning with your chakras. Yet you only see four, evenly spaced. This is correct.

You are being activated. You are tuning into the power of the Cosmos.
